Abstract

PURPOSE: To immobilize lipase by bonding the lipase to a specific ion exchanging material.
CONSTITUTION: Lipase is bonded to an ion exchanging material having hydrophobic groups (e.g. material obtained by chemically bonding a group derived from aliphatic compound such as chain hydrocarbon, aromatic compound such as benzene, alicyclic compound such as desoxycholic acid, etc., to a substrate such as agarose, dextrane, polyacrylamide, cellulose, etc.) through an ionic bond and a hydrophobic bond.
EFFECT: Since lipase is bonded by both ionic bond and hydrophobic bond, the adsorptive force is strong, and does not easily released by the change of ionic strength or pH. It can be easily regenerated, and the carrier can be reused.
