Abstract
PURPOSE:To efficiently condense the light diverted from a sample by containing the sample within a vessel in which a reflecting face of light is formed in its inside. CONSTITUTION:A sample receiver 2 is disposed within a vessel 1 of parabolic face mirror type which is composed of a metal such as aluminum, stainless steel or other, glass, or a metal or plastic applied with chrome plating, etc. and has a mirror inside surface, near the focus of the parabolic face mirror at a right angle to the main axis of the mirror. If a sample 3 is disposed on the sample receiver 2 and a lens 4 and a photo sensor 5 are disposed in opposition to the opening part of the vessel 1, then the light (b) (c) in which the light (a) diverted from the top surface of the sample 3 directly diverted from the side surface and the bottom surface is reflected on the inside surface of the vessel 1 and enters the lens 4. It is then focused at the photo sensor 5. Hence, the diverted light of the sample 3 is efficiently condensed and the improvement of measurement accuracy and the reduction of the measurement time may be achieved.
