Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent influence on any other station when either a repeater or a transmission line is in trouble on one loop transmission circuit, by controlling the operational function of the repeater. CONSTITUTION:Signals from transmission line 12 at the left side of the bothway repeater used by master station MST and remote station RST are wavwform- regenerated by MODEN 17 via receiver circuit 13 and then sent out to transmission line 12 at the right side via transmitter circuit 16. At the same time as this relaying, the output of MODEM 17 is sent out to MST or RST and data from MST or RST is sent out to both the right and left sides simultaneously. In addition, circuits 13 to 16 provided with the inhibit circuit and when a transmitter-receiver at the right side or left side is inhibited through the control of MST or RST, reception or transmission is performed without relaying.
