Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide smooth transfer of an ignition to the full capacity combustion of a burner, by connecting an ignition valve for feeding a small amount of fuel to a main valve for feeding sufficient fuel for the combustion to the capacity. CONSTITUTION:When a power switch 2 and thermo switch 3 are turned off at the time of starting, an IC 19 makes an emitter of a switching transistor 20 put out a constant voltage through a d.c. constant voltage circuit 18, which drives a switching relay 21 and keying relay 23 to actuate an igniter 5 for producing a spark from an ignition plug 4. At this moment only No.2 solenoid valve 12 is opened to feed a small amount of fuel to a burner 13 to make a slow ignition. When a flame is formed at the burner 13, a signal from a flame detecting circuit 24 makes the IC 19 suspend the igniter 5 and open No.1 solenoid valve 10 to feed a large amount of fuel to the burner 13 for combustion to its capacity being combined with fuel from No.2 solenoid valve 12. This ensures a smooth transfer of an ignition to the full capacity combustion of the burner.
