Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the power consumption of needless terminal equipments, etc., by giving redundancy to supply and break information in the remote control unit which supplies or breaks power sources of terminal equipments, etc., through a communication line. CONSTITUTION:When a prescribed code pulse train is transmitted from computer 1, it is demodulated by MODEM 2 and is transitted to MODEM 4 through communication line 3, and prescribed code pulses are transmitted to power source control unit 5 afrer demodulation. In power source control unit 5, the power source of terminal equipment 6, etc., is supplied in response to prescribed code pulses, and a response signal is transmitted when communication becomes available. This signal is received by computer 1 and the same code pulse train is transmitted repeatedly, so that the power source of terminal equipmint 6, etc., can be supplied to start communication, or the power source can be broken to stop communication. Thus, power supply for uneconomical terminal equipments can be avoided to economize power consumption.
