Abstract

PURPOSE: To control phase precisely on using no feedback system by obtaining a trigger signal on driving a timing circuit with the sum of both divided voltages of an output terminal resistance of a full-wave rectifier and a series circuit of a capacitor with a diode.
CONSTITUTION: A series circuit of the load 2 with the three-terminal bilateral control rectifier element 3 is connected to the AC supply 1. Also the full-wave rectifier circuit 9 is connected to the supply through the transformer 10, its output terminal is connected to a series circuit of the capacitor 12 with the diode 13 through the resistance 11. The timing circuit 18 is operated by a voltage wave form, which is produced by the sum of both divided voltage of the series circuit and the resistance 11, to obtain a trigger signal of the control rectifier element 3. Thus, without RMS value computing device, voltage can be controlled precisely even though output voltage of the transformer 10 is saturated, and the unit can be made small and light.
