Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform development efficiently through the use of high resistance one-component type toner by letting charge injection roller peripheral speed ≥ developing roller peripheral speed and controlling the toner to a suitable quantity with a doctor blade thereby preventing the production of double images.
CONSTITUTION: The developing device is constituted by photosensitive drum 11, a developing drum 12 forming the layer of toner on the circumference, a stationary magnet roller 12a built in the drum 12, a doctor blade 13 which controls the toner quantity to an even and suitable quantity, a toner containing tank 14 which contains one-component toner, a toner conveying belt 15 and a charge injection roller 16. The peripheral speed of the charge injection roller 16 is made equal to or larger than the peripheral speed of the sleeve 12. Hence, the toner is controlled to the adequate quantity by the doctor blade 13 and the contact pressure of the roller 16 upon the toner is evened and therefore the injection of the chages of the specified polarity is evenly and adequately accomplished. Hence, the production of the double images may be prevented and developing may be done by using the high resistance toner.
