Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve S/N and make possible the automatic measurement of partial discharge by judging whether the signal through discharge having been detected by the use of electrical techniques and the signal through discharge having been detected by the use of acoustical techniques have synchronized or not.
CONSTITUTION: The signal 2a having been electrically detected and the signal 2s by the acoustic wave having been detected with an ultrasonic microphone are inputted respectively to input terminals 1a, 1s. These signals are converted to pulse signals 4a and 4s by monostable circuits 3a and 3s and are then inputted to an AND circuit 5. The AND circuit 5 output the synchronizing signal 6 when the two signals 4a and 4s synchronize. This synchronizing signal 6 is converted to a pulse signal 9 having a width to which a pen-writing recorder sufficiently responds, by way of a monostable circuit 8. After this pulse signal is amplified in an amplifier circuit consisting of a transistor 10 and emitter resistor 11, it is outputted from output terminal 12. This output signal is recorded with the pen-writing recorder.
