Abstract
PURPOSE:To stabilize feed pressure of ink or other fluids and to reduce the size of a pressurizing device, by reciprocating smoothly a piston pressurizing the ink or the like through the partition membrane of bellows or the like and by controlling its stroke. CONSTITUTION:Rotation movement is converted into smooth linear movement through screw rod 18 or the like rotated with DC motor 1 and speed converting gear mechanism 2 to smoothly reciprocate piston 3. The reciprocation movement of piston 3 is transmitted to partition membrane 6 of bellows or the like, ink contained in pressure chamber 5 is pressurized according to stroke of piston 3, and fed to ink ejection head 11 etc.. The pressure of the ink pressurized in chamber 5 is detected with pressure detector 16 and motor 1 is controlled in response to the detected pressure to control stroke of piston 3 so as to feed the ink of a predetermined pressure to head 11.
