【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、作成中の文書およ
び作成中の文書に類似する文書から抽出した名詞句を重
要度に応じて並べた名詞句リストを生成し、生成した名
詞句リストをかな漢字変換に利用することにより、変換
精度のさらなる向上を図ったかな漢字変換システムおよ
びそのシステムとしてコンピュータを機能させるための
プログラムを記録したコンピュータ読み取り可能な記録
媒体に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】かな漢字変換処理は、入力した読み文字
列をかな漢字混じり文字列に変換する処理のことであ
り、ワードプロセッサ等で日本語の文書を作成するため
に不可欠な技術である。コンピュータには、このかな漢
字変換処理を行うためのかな漢字変換システムを組み込
むことができ、コンピュータ上での日本語処理を可能と
している。
【０００３】かな漢字変換処理においては、文書作成者
の意図に合ったかな漢字変換を可能とする変換精度の向
上が重要な課題である。変換精度を向上するための手法
の一つとして、文脈情報の解析機能を挙げることができ
る。
【０００４】文脈情報の解析機能は、かな漢字変換され
た文字列の文脈に基づいて、作成中の文書のジャンルに
適した漢字を変換候補として優先的に選択するというも
のである。例えば、「そうしゃ」という読み文字列が入
力された場合に、前に入力された名詞または名詞句が
「コンサート」や「バイオリン」であるような場合に
は、作成中の文書は「音楽」に関するものであると判断
し、変換候補の第１位に「奏者」を表示する。一方、前
に入力された名詞または名詞句が「野球」や「監督」で
あるような場合には、作成中の文書は「スポーツ」に関
するものであると判断し、変換候補の第１に「走者」を
表示する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかしながら、上記従
来の技術においては、文脈情報を解析することによって
変換精度の向上を図ることができるものの、用いる文脈
情報は前に入力された名詞や名詞句等の局所的なもので
あるため、変換精度に限界があり、さらなる精度の向上
が望まれていた。
【０００６】また、上記従来の技術において、辞書にな
い造語等の新規なことばのかな漢字変換を行う場合にあ
っては、文脈情報の解析機能等を用いたとしても、文書
作成者の意図に合った変換候補を表示することは困難で
あるという問題点があった。
【０００７】本発明は上記に鑑みてなされたものであっ
て、作成中の文書および作成中の文書に類似する文書か
ら抽出した名詞句を重要度に応じて並べた名詞句リスト
を生成し、生成した名詞句リストをかな漢字変換に利用
することにより、変換精度のさらなる向上を図ることを
目的とする。
【０００８】また、本発明は上記に鑑みてなされたもの
であって、上記名詞句リストを利用することにより、辞
書にない新規なことばをかな漢字変換する際の変換精度
の向上を図ることを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的を達成するた
め、請求項１のかな漢字変換システムは、キーボード等
の入力装置からかな漢字変換対象となる読み文字列を入
力し、入力した読み文字列をかな漢字混じり文字列に変
換するかな漢字変換システムにおいて、予め複数の文書
を記憶した文書記憶手段と、前記変換したかな漢字混じ
り文字列からなる作成中の文書に類似する類似文書を前
記文書記憶手段から検索する類似文書検索手段と、前記
作成中の文書および類似文書を一つの文書に統合して統
合文書を生成する統合文書生成手段と、前記統合文書生
成手段で生成した統合文書から名詞および名詞句を抽出
し、重要度の高い順に名詞句リストを生成する名詞句リ
スト生成手段と、前記入力した読み文字列をかな漢字混
じり文字列に変換する際に、前記名詞句リストに基づい
て、かな漢字変換の候補の表示順序を決定するかな漢字
変換手段と、を備えたものである。
【００１０】また、請求項２のかな漢字変換システム
は、請求項１に記載のかな漢字変換システムにおいて、
前記類似文書検索手段が、前記入力した読み文字列がか
な漢字混じり文に変換され、前記作成中の文書に追加さ
れる毎に前記類似文書の検索を行うものである。
【００１１】さらに、請求項３のコンピュータ読み取り
可能な記録媒体は、前記請求項１または２に記載のかな
漢字変換システムの各手段としてコンピュータを機能さ
せるためのプログラムを記録したものである。

【発明の実施の形態】以下、本発明のかな漢字変換シス
テムおよびそのシステムの各手段としてコンピュータを
機能させるためのプログラムを記録したコンピュータ読
み取り可能な記録媒体の一実施の形態について、添付の
図面を参照しつつ詳細に説明する。
【００１３】図１は、本実施の形態のかな漢字変換シス
テムのハードウエア構成を示すブロック構成図である。
図１において、１００はＣＰＵを、１０１はＲＯＭを、
１０２はＲＡＭを、１０３はかな漢字変換処理を行うか
な漢字変換ソフト１０４を格納したハードディスク装置
を、１０５はキーボード，マウス等の入力装置を、１０
６はＣＲＴ等のディスプレイを、１０７は上記各部を接
続するバスをそれぞれ示している。
【００１４】なお、図示は省略するが、バス１０７に
は、さらに、フロッピーディスクドライブ装置や、ＣＤ
−ＲＯＭドライブ装置、ネットワークを介して情報の送
受信を行うための通信装置等を接続することができる。
【００１５】図２は、かな漢字変換ソフト１０４の処理
を示す概略ブロック図である。かな漢字変換ソフト１０
４は、作成中の文書２０１を入力し、品詞等の情報を格
納した辞書２００ａおよび文法ルールを格納した文法辞
書２００ｂを用いて文書２０１の解析処理を行い、文書
２０１から名詞または名詞句を抽出し、名詞句リスト２
０３を生成する自然言語処理モジュール２００と、自然
言語処理モジュール２００で生成した名詞句リスト２０
３に基づいて、文書２０１に類似する類似文書を検索す
る類似文書検索エンジン２０６と、文書２０１および類
似文書検索エンジン２０６で検索した類似文書を一つの
文書に統合して統合文書２０８を生成する統合文書生成
モジュール２０７と、自然言語処理モジュール２００で
生成した統合文書２０８の名詞句リスト２０３に基づい
て、統合文書２０８中の名詞句の重要度を判定し、各名
詞句を重要度に応じて配列したランキングリスト２０５
を生成するランキングエンジン２０４と、ランキングエ
ンジン２０４で生成したランキングリスト２０５に基づ
いて、かな漢字変換処理を行うかな漢字変換部２０９
と、を備えている。
【００１６】図３は、上記類似文書検索エンジン２０６
の処理を示す概略ブロック図である。この類似文書検索
エンジン２０６は、ベクトル空間法を用いた検索処理を
行うものであって、文書２０１の類似文書を検索するた
めに、図示しない文書ＤＢ（ハードディスク装置１０３
であっても良い）中に保存されている保存文書３００を
ベクター表現に変換して転置ファイル３０２に登録する
処理と、転置ファイル３０２を用いて文書２０１に類似
する保存文書３００を検索する処理とを行うものであ
る。なお、図３において、図２と同一の構成については
同一の符号を付すことにする。
【００１７】保存文書３００を転置ファイル３０２に登
録する処理において、データベース・ビルド・コンポー
ネント３０１は、自然言語処理モジュール２００で生成
した文書２０１の名詞句リスト２０３を入力し、入力し
た名詞句リスト２０３の各名詞句について、所定の統計
情報を付与し、付与した統計情報を用いて保存文書３０
０のベクター表現を生成し、転置ファイル３０２に登録
する。
【００１８】また、文書２０１に類似する保存文書３０
０を検索する処理において、クエリー・ビルド・コンポ
ーネント３０３は、自然言語処理モジュール２００から
文書２０１の名詞句リスト２０３を入力し、入力した名
詞句リスト２０３中の各名詞句に対して所定の統計情報
を付与し、付与した統計情報を用いて文書２０１をベク
ター表現に変換したクエリー・ドキュメント３０４を生
成する。
【００１９】検索エンジン（例えば、ＣＬＡＲＩＴＥＣ
Ｈ社のＣＬＡＲＩＴ）３０５は、クエリー・ビルド・コ
ンポーネント３０３で生成したクエリー・ドキュメント
３０４を入力し、転置ファイル３０２中の保存文書３０
０のベクター表現とクエリー・ドキュメント３０４（文
書２０１のベクター表現）とを比較して、クエリー・ド
キュメント３０４との類似度に応じたスコアを各保存文
書３００に付与した後、所定の閾値を超えるスコアの保
存文書３００を選択して、保存文書リストを検索結果と
して出力する。
【００２０】次に、上述した構成を備えたかな漢字変換
システムの動作について、ランキングリスト２０５を生
成する処理を中心に説明する。図４は、ランキングリス
ト２０５の生成処理を示すフローチャートである。
【００２１】かな漢字変換ソフト１０４は、入力装置１
０５を介して読み文字列からかな漢字混じり文への変換
処理を行っている。以下に説明する処理は、読み文字列
から変換されたかな漢字文字列が作成中の文書２０１に
追加される毎に実行される。ただし、ランキングリスト
２０５を生成するタイミングは任意に変更することがで
きる。
【００２２】かな漢字変換ソフト１０４の自然言語処理
モジュール２００は、作成中の文書２０１に読み文字列
からかな漢字変換されたかな漢字混じり文が追加される
と（Ｓ４０１）、作成中の文書２０１を入力し、作成中
の文書２０１の名詞句リスト２０３を生成する（Ｓ４０
２）。すなわち、文書２０１を入力し、品詞等の情報を
格納した辞書２００ａおよび文法ルールを格納した文法
辞書２００ｂを用いて、形態素解析，主要な語または句
の識別，意味情報の付与，構文解析，参照表現の解析，
同一指示物の判定等の処理を行う。そして、解析処理の
結果を用いて、文書２０１から名詞または名詞句を抽出
し、名詞句リスト２０３を出力する。
【００２３】類似文書検索エンジン２０６は、自然言語
処理モジュール２００から名詞句リスト２０３を入力
し、上述したようにして作成中の文書２０１の類似文書
を検索し、検索した類似文書のリストを統合文書生成モ
ジュール２０７に出力する（Ｓ４０３）。
【００２４】統合文書生成モジュール２０７は、類似文
書検索エンジン２０６から入力した類似文書のリストに
該当する保存文書３００を入力すると共に、作成中の文
書２０１を入力し、入力した保存文書３００および作成
中の文書２０１を一つの文書に統合した統合文書２０８
を生成する（Ｓ４０４）。なお、上記類似文書検索エン
ジン２０６による検索においては、複数の類似文書が検
索結果として得られることがある。このような場合であ
っても、複数の類似文書、即ち、複数の保存文書３００
および作成中の文書２０１からなる統合文書２０８が生
成される。
【００２５】統合文書生成モジュール２０７で統合文書
２０８が生成されると、自然言語処理モジュール２００
は、生成された統合文書２０８を入力し、作成中の文書
２０１の名詞句リスト２０３を生成したようにして、統
合文書２０８の名詞句リスト２０３を生成する（Ｓ４０
５）。
【００２６】続いて、ランキングエンジン２０４は、自
然言語処理モジュール２００から入力した統合文書２０
８の名詞句リスト２０３中の各名詞句について、統合文
書２０８中での重要度に応じた重み付け処理、各名詞句
に対する重み付けの結果を用いて統合文書２０８中の各
名詞句の重要度を判定する処理、および重要度の高い名
詞句が上位となるように各名詞句にランキング付けを行
う処理を行い、ランキングに応じてセンテンスを並び替
えたランキングリスト２０５を生成する（Ｓ４０６）。
【００２７】かな漢字変換部２０９は、ランキングエン
ジン２０４で生成したランキングリスト２０５に基づい
て、読み文字列の変換候補の決定や優先順位の決定を行
う。すなわち、ランキングリスト２０５を、作成中の文
書２０１の全体的な言葉の出現状況や作成中の文書２０
１を特徴づける語彙空間として利用することにより、か
な漢字変換効率の向上を図る。
【００２８】このように、本実施の形態のかな漢字変換
システムによれば、作成中の文書および作成中の文書に
類似する文書から抽出した名詞句を重要度に応じて並べ
た名詞句リストを生成し、生成した名詞句リストをかな
漢字変換に利用することにしたため、変換精度のさらな
る向上を図ることができると共に、辞書にない新規なこ
とばをかな漢字変換する際の変換精度の向上を図ること
ができる。
【００２９】なお、本実施の形態においては、ベクトル
空間法による検索処理を用いて文書２０１の類似文書を
検索することにしたが、ベクトル空間法による検索処理
ではなく、ブーリアン検索による検索処理を用いること
にしても良い。
【００３０】また、本実施の形態においては、類似文書
検索エンジン２０６をかな漢字変換ソフト１０４の一つ
の機能として説明したが、これを検索サーバ等に持た
せ、ネットワークを介して検索処理を行うことにしても
良い。
【００３１】さらに、本実施の形態で説明したかな漢字
変換システムは、予め用意されたプログラムをコンピュ
ータやワークステーションで実行することによって実現
される。このプログラムは、ハードディスク，フロッピ
ーディスク，ＣＤ−ＲＯＭ，ＭＯ，ＤＶＤ等のコンピュ
ータで読み取り可能な記録媒体に記録され、コンピュー
タによって記録媒体から読み出されることによって実行
される。また、このプログラムは、上記記録媒体を介し
て、またはネットワークを介して配布することができ
る。

【発明の効果】以上説明したように、本発明のかな漢字
変換システム（請求項１）によれば、予め複数の文書を
記憶した文書記憶手段と、変換したかな漢字混じり文字
列からなる作成中の文書に類似する類似文書を文書記憶
手段から検索する類似文書検索手段と、作成中の文書お
よび類似文書を一つの文書に統合して統合文書を生成す
る統合文書生成手段と、統合文書生成手段で生成した統
合文書から名詞および名詞句を抽出し、重要度の高い順
に名詞句リストを生成する名詞句リスト生成手段と、入
力した読み文字列をかな漢字混じり文字列に変換する際
に、名詞句リストに基づいて、かな漢字変換の候補の表
示順序を決定するかな漢字変換手段と、を備えたため、
変換精度のさらなる向上を図ることができると共に、辞
書にない新規なことばをかな漢字変換する際の変換精度
の向上を図ることができる。
【００３３】また、本発明のかな漢字変換システム（請
求項２）によれば、請求項１に記載のかな漢字変換シス
テムにおいて、類似文書検索手段は、入力した読み文字
列がかな漢字混じり文に変換され、作成中の文書に追加
される毎に類似文書の検索を行うため、生成した名詞句
リストを常に作成中の文書に合った状態に保つことがで
きる。したがって、変換精度のさらなる向上を図ること
ができると共に、辞書にない新規なことばをかな漢字変
換する際の変換精度の向上を図ることができる。
【００３４】さらに、本発明のコンピュータ読み取り可
能な記録媒体（請求項３）によれば、請求項１または２
に記載のかな漢字変換システムの各手段としてコンピュ
ータを機能させるためのプログラムを記録したため、こ
のプログラムをコンピュータに実行させることにより、
変換精度のさらなる向上を図ることができると共に、辞
書にない新規なことばをかな漢字変換する際の変換精度
の向上を図ることができるかな漢字変換システムを実現
することができる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 キーボード等の入力装置からかな漢字変
    換対象となる読み文字列を入力し、入力した読み文字列
    をかな漢字混じり文字列に変換するかな漢字変換システ
    ムにおいて、 予め複数の文書を記憶した文書記憶手段と、 前記変換したかな漢字混じり文字列からなる作成中の文
    書に類似する類似文書を前記文書記憶手段から検索する
    類似文書検索手段と、 前記作成中の文書および類似文書を一つの文書に統合し
    て統合文書を生成する統合文書生成手段と、 前記統合文書生成手段で生成した統合文書から名詞およ
    び名詞句を抽出し、重要度の高い順に名詞句リストを生
    成する名詞句リスト生成手段と、 前記入力した読み文字列をかな漢字混じり文字列に変換
    する際に、前記名詞句リストに基づいて、かな漢字変換
    の候補の表示順序を決定するかな漢字変換手段と、 を備えたことを特徴とするかな漢字変換システム。
  2. 【請求項２】 前記類似文書検索手段は、前記入力した
    読み文字列がかな漢字混じり文に変換され、前記作成中
    の文書に追加される毎に前記類似文書の検索を行うこと
    を特徴とする請求項１に記載のかな漢字変換システム。
  3. 【請求項３】 前記請求項１または２に記載のかな漢字
    変換システムの各手段としてコンピュータを機能させる
    ためのプログラムを記録したことを特徴とするコンピュ
    ータ読み取り可能な記録媒体。
