Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform charge receiving processing also without performing double processing by deciding a mobile station whether response data should be sent to a fixed ground station or not based on an identification code. SOLUTION: A fixed ground station sends an identification code 31 when a vehicle proceeds into a communicable area of a roadside antenna. A mobile station receives it, checks decision information that is stored after the last charge receiving processing with a ground station is finished and the code 31 that is received this time and decides whether response data 32 should be sent to a ground station 12 or not. When a stored tollgate number is different from a tollgate number 31a that is sent this time, the mobile station decides that the data 32 should be sent to the ground station, and a decision information storing part clears the last decision information that is held after the data 32 is sent and stores new decision information 33. When the same code 31 is sent from the ground station, because it is the same with the decision information 33 that is stored the last time, double charge receiving is prevented by not sending the data 32.

In the course of the communication process in this toll collection, a timer value is held in order to prevent double toll collection in the same tollgate. Specifically, when the time difference between the transmission time stored in the storage unit of the mobile station 5 by the previous process and the transmission time 21b received by the current process does not exceed the timer value, The mobile station 5 mounted on the base station 11 determines not to transmit the response data 22 based on the identification code 21 received from the fixed ground station 12 and the held determination information. That is, it is set so that the toll collection is not repeated many times when the vehicle 11 cannot move in the communicable area 4. On the other hand, when the vehicle passes through the same tollgate again after the elapse of the timer value, it is determined that the response data 22 should be transmitted.

In the above-mentioned conventional mobile station 5 and ground station 12, depending on the setting of the timer value,
The following problems occur. That is, when the timer value held in the mobile station 5 is sufficiently long, for example, the vehicle 11 that has completed the toll collection process with the ground station 12 passes through the ground station 13 in the opposite lane at the same tollgate within the timer value time. If you do
The toll gate numbers 21a of the ground station 12 and the ground station 13 are the same. Therefore, the mobile station 5 does not transmit the response data 22,
The vehicle 11 passes without performing the toll collection process.

On the other hand, if the timer value is short, it is determined that the vehicle 11 has been stopped for a long time in the communicable area 4 between the fixed ground station 12 and the mobile station 5 due to a failure of the vehicle 11, that is, exceeding the timer value. Each time the timer set time is exceeded, the fee collection process is performed many times.

Next, after the toll collection process with the ground station 12 is completed, the vehicle 11 is brought into the communicable area 4 due to a failure or the like.
It is assumed that the vehicle has been stopped for a long time in In this case, the same identification code 31 is further transmitted from the ground station 12.
The mobile station 5 compares the traveling direction 31c, 33c and the antenna number 31d, 33d included in the identification code 31 received this time with the determination information 33 stored from the previous communication, respectively. As a result of the comparison, since the traveling direction and the antenna number are the same, it is determined that the response data 32 should not be transmitted, the determination information stored from the previous communication is continuously held, and the response data 32 is not transmitted. . Therefore, double toll collection can be reliably prevented.

Further, for example, as shown in FIG. 2, it is assumed that the vehicle 11 enters a general road after completing the toll collection processing with the ground station 12, and then immediately enters the toll road from the reverse lane. In this case, when the vehicle 11 enters the communicable area of the ground station 13, the ground station 13 first transmits an identification code to the mobile station 5, similarly to the wireless communication with the ground station 12. The mobile station 5 compares the antenna number and the traveling direction included in the transmitted identification code with the traveling direction 33c and the antenna number 33d included in the held determination information,
It is recognized that the traveling directions 33c are different. Therefore, the mobile station 5 determines that the response data should be transmitted based on the certification.

As described above, the mobile station 5 has the toll gate number 31
In order to determine whether or not to transmit the response data 32 based on the identification code 31 including not only the transmission time 31b but also the traveling direction 31c and the antenna number 31d, the ground station having a different lane even in the same tollgate. It is possible to distinguish between a case where the vehicle has entered the vehicle and a case where the vehicle has entered the same ground station. Therefore, it is possible to reliably collect tolls even from vehicles 11 entering the same tollgate and different lanes. Further, it is possible to prevent double toll collection processing by the same ground station.
