Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe cap by providing bulged parts on outer peripheries of the cap substantially both axial ends, forming recesses of spaces between the bulged parts, and forming a vent hole for communicating an insertion port for clamping a front end with a rear end. SOLUTION: Bulged parts 2, 3 of overall circumferences are provided on outer peripheries of a cap 1 substantially both axial ends, and a recess 1b of a space is formed between the parts 2 and 3. An inner cap 8 is formed forward of the rear end 5 of an inner hole of the cap 1. The cap 8 is connected from its outer periphery to a circumferential wall of the hole of the cap 1 by a rib 7, and an air flow passage connected from an insertion port 1a of the cap 1 to the rear end of the cap via a vent hole 6 formed between the ribs is formed. Thus, even when the cap is swallowed, the air flows from the vent hole for its safety.

のような短寸のキャップは軸直角方向にも飲み込まれる
可能性があり得る。従って軸方向の通気手段だけでは十
分安全とは言い切れない。本願の目的はそのような短寸
のキャップをより安全なものとすることにある。

の先端部に止着される短寸のキャップに於いて、当該キ
ャップは少なくとも軸方向略両端の外周部にそれぞれ全
周状又は周上に部分的な膨出部が設けられ、その膨出部
と膨出部の間に適宜空間の凹部が形成されて、更に筆記
具等の先端部を止着する挿入口から後端部に連通する通
気孔が設けられて成り、例えキャップが軸直角方向に飲
み込まれたとしても通気を可能とする。

れている。又、インナーキャップ8はその外周部とキャ
ップ内孔部周壁との間が所要箇所で設けられた放射状の
リブ7で接続され、リブとリブとの間に形成された通気
孔6によってキャップの挿入口1aからキャップ後端に
抜ける空気流通路が形成されている。キャップ1は以上
の構成で通常は一体の樹脂成形品で形成され、又、前記
膨出部は少なくとも軸方向の両端に設けられ、必要によ
ってその中間部にも設けられる。尚、キャップ外周形状
及び膨出部外周形状は円形に限定されない。

と軸方向の寸法が略同等で筆記具等の先端部に止着され
る短寸のキャップに於いて、当該キャップは少なくとも
軸方向略両端の外周部にそれぞれ全周状又は周上に部分
的な膨出部が設けられ、その膨出部と膨出部の間に適宜
空間の凹部が形成されて、更に筆記具等の先端部を止着
する挿入口から後端部に連通する通気孔が設けられて成
ることを特徴とする筆記具等のキャップ。
