Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To thin a case main body shape, by arranging a fluorescent lamp to provide a D.C-A.C. inverter connected to an sutomobile power source in order to brighten a character portion on the back surface of a number plate wherein a character portion is punched, also a transparent or translucent synthetic resin is stuck. SOLUTION: A D.C.-A.C. inverter connected to an automobile power source in a main body case composed of a case 1 and a case frame 2, and the electrode of a fluorescent lamp 4 are connected to the back surface of a number plate 3 wherein a character portion is punched, also a transparent or translucent synthetic resin is stuck to the character portion. The fluorescent lamp 4 and a reflecting mirror 5 are provided on the case 1 lower end to diffuse light uniformly, and a light leading plate 6 adopted as a surface light source and a diffusion film 7 are mounted. Turning on a power source emits light in a lamp 4 to make it a surface light source in the light leading plate 6 and moreover in the diffusion film 7, thereby making a stamped resin character number plate 3 luminous.

A DC-AC connected to a vehicle power supply, wherein a fluorescent lamp for illuminating the character portion is arranged on the back of a license plate in which a character portion is punched out and a transparent or translucent synthetic resin is attached to the character portion. A character-type license plate with an inverter. 2.
