のだと言うことが証明されているのではなかろうか。し
かしながらタバコには中毒性があり、そこから習慣性が
付き、一旦始めると止めようの無いもので、不必要に家
計を圧迫するものだと見らているようである。私は若い
折には一日に50本は吸う仲々のヘビー・スモーカーで
あった。しかし30歳を少し過ぎた頃ぶっつりと止め
た。しかし中毒症状から起こる苦しみと言うものは何も
無かった。タバコの中毒性と言うものは薬理的なものよ
り遥かに精神的なものだと見て宜いのではあるまいか。
人は心が一つのピークに達すると、それを何らかの方法
で緩弛したくなるものである。それをタバコで以って行
い始めた人はずっとタバコで以ってするようになるので
はあるまいか。社会の進歩の未だ低い時代即ち生活環境
の中に自然が多く存在していた時代には、勿論現代であ
っても未開の程度の強い社会では、タバコは時と処を選
ばず何時でも何処でもその心のピークの気軽な解放剤と
して用いられるそれは手軽で効果的な嗜好品であった。
その手軽さはコーヒーや紅茶やお茶などを喫して一服す
る場合と比べればよく判る。今日先進各国は都会化がど
んどん進み、生活環境は極めて非自然的即ち人工的とな
っている。タバコの出す煙や臭やほくや吸い殼などを吸
収して自然に返す機能は極めて低下している。したがっ
てタバコの出すこれら疎嫌要因は総て公害と化すように
なった。一般的にそういう公害は殆ど総て公共が処理し
なくてはならない。街の車道や歩道で、駅のホームで、
ビルの廊下やロビーなどで、タバコ公害が発生すると、
総てこれらは誰かの手で清掃されねばならない。しかし
今日の生活水準と意識水準の向上した社会において一体
誰がその作業を引受けようか。そういう作業を厭わずや
ってくれる人がありさえすれば、タバコに掛かる税金は
現在1本につき5円余りであるが、これを6円にしさえ
すれば、財源は確保出来るのだから、その清掃が出来な
いと言うことは無いのである。しかし一般的に言ってそ
ういう疎嫌作業は機械化を以ってする以外になくなって
来ている。原子力産業などにおいてもその産業内の疎嫌
作業には従事してくれる人は殆どいなくなって来てお
り、その所為で欧米では原子力産業そのものが成り立た
なくなって来ていると、IEA(国際エネルギー機関)
などは報じているようなことなのである。これが時代の
進歩と言うものであるので、どうしようも無いことであ
る。したがってタバコはどうしても公害を出さないもの
となって、その疎嫌作業を発生させないものとならなく
てはならない。このタバコの進化が進まない限り、タバ
コ産業は所有方面から攻撃を受けることになる。病気の
原因となるなどから始まっていろいろな社会運動まで所
有手段を以って社会から追放されかねないことになる。
私はこれまでそのことを厳正に認識して、疎嫌作業を出
さないタバコは開発出来ないかと、いろいろ考えて来
た。煙の殆ど出ないタバコとか、水を掛ければ、吸い殼
が溶解してしまうものとか、いろいろ発想したが、これ
はと言うものに結晶しなかった。しかし此度タバコの煙
はニコチン吸入上の副産物であって、それはタール煙や
水蒸気などであり、そこにタバコの本質があるのでは無
いことに気付き、タバコはニコチンの蒸気を純粋に吸う
もので宜しいことに思い至った。蚊取線香に電子蚊取器
が発明されたように、タバコにも電子タバコがあれば宜
しいのである。ニコチンは精製されたものは不快臭を持
つほゞ無色な油状の液体だと言う。そしてその沸点は2
47度Cである。これらから考えると、精製ニコチンを
加熱して蒸気とし、それを適量な空気に混ぜて吸おうと
すれば、決して不可能では無いことが容易に判るのであ
る。勿論それだけでは味が不味かれば、ニコチンの沸点
以下の沸点を持つ何らかの精製物質を香味料として混入
すれば宜しい訳である。しかしながらその香味料を用い
なくても、薄荷油などは別であるが、結構行けるのでは
無いかと思っている。こういう次第で発明したのが本発
明である。本発明の構成は「特許請求の範囲」に簡潔に
述べられている。「請求項1」の発明は本発明の基本発
明であり、「請求項2」の発明は本発明の具体的な実施
例発明である。その実施例発明を以って本発明の機能を
説明する。本メカタバコを親指と中指に挾んで持ち、吸
い口をくちびるに挾む。そしてライターの操作ボタンを
人差指で軽快に押すと、ガス・ライターが作動して、ガ
スが燃え出し、ニコチン汽罐を加熱する。そのまゝの状
態で暫し過ごし、徐に吸い口を吸うと、吸動・自動復帰
ニコチン蒸気取出栓が開いて、空気とニコチン蒸気を吸
入出来る。斯くて一服目を吸う。一服を終って吸入を止
めると、吸動・自動復帰ニコチン蒸気取出栓は自動復帰
して閉じる。人差指は依然としてライターの操作ボタン
を押している。したがってライターは依然ニコチン汽罐
を加熱し続けている。二服目を吸う。一服目と同様に吸
動・自動復帰ニコチン蒸気取出栓が開いて、又一服吸う
ことが出来る。一服を終えると、又自動的に吸動・自動
復帰ニコチン蒸気取出栓は閉じる。人差指は尚ライター
の操作ボタンを押し続けている。ニコチン汽罐は過熱す
るかも判らない。過熱したとすると、過熱防止装置であ
るニコチン汽罐のピストンが押し出されて、接続棒を介
してライターの操作ボタンを人差指の圧力とは反対の方
向に押す。人差指でそれを感知して人差指の力を抜く
(実際は力を抜くことを等閑しても押し戻される)と、
ライターの操作ボタンは自動復帰して、ガス・ライター
の火は消える。斯くて加熱が中止されると、過熱状態は
瞬間的に止まる。勿論過熱防止装置のピストンの作動も
瞬間的に止まる。そのまゝで三服目を吸っても宜しい。
又吸動・自動復帰ニコチン蒸気取出栓が開いて、一服吸
うことが出来る。四服目もそのまゝで可能かも判らな
い。しかし五服目はニコチン汽罐が加熱されていない状
態のまゝであるから、ニコチン気罐の圧力が低下し、ニ
コチン蒸気が旨く吹き出さず、空気だけを吸うことにな
るかも判らない。それが判れば、再び徐にライターの操
作ボタンを人差指で押してガス・ライターを点火し、ニ
コチン汽罐を加熱して、最初の一服のようにこのメカタ
バコを吸うことになる。本メカタバコを吸う場合、それ
を水平に或はそれに近い状態に保っていれば、何ら問題
はないが、時として本メカタバコの先端を上げたり下げ
たり或は横に捻ったりすることもあろう。そうすると、
吸動・自動復帰ニコチン蒸気取出栓のあるニコチン蒸気
取出口がニコチン蒸気ではなくニコチン液で塞ってしま
い、ニコチン汽罐内に高圧が掛かっている場合、ニコチ
ン液がその口から噴出することになる。それが丁度吸気
している折であると、一度に大量のニコチンを摂ること
になり、大変危険である。そこである一定限度以上に本
メカタバコが傾くと、それを自動的に感知して吸気状態
を中止させて、吸動・自動復帰ニコチン蒸気取出栓が自
動復帰して、ニコチン液の噴漏出を予め防止するように
した。このニコチン液漏出予防装置は出来るだけ簡単な
機構であることが好ましく、幸にも極めてシンプルなも
のを考え付きえて喜んでいる。それは「図2」と「図
3」で以って示されているようなもので、本体の一定限
度傾斜内(ニコチン液の噴漏出することのない傾斜の範
囲内)で本体の気道孔を開通させるように孔を垂直線上
に設け、その本体の一定限度傾斜外傾斜ではその孔以外
の部分が本体の気道孔を閉塞するように出来ている、本
体の傾斜に関係無く垂直に垂れ下がっている板状振子栓
の機能に負うものである。勿論このニコチン液漏出予防
装置は上下傾斜に対するものと左右傾斜に対するものと
の二つが必要である。したがって本メカタバコを吸入中
何かの拍子に本体が上下左右のどちらかに可成りひどく
傾いた場合、本体の気道孔が垂直状態を保っている振子
栓の孔と外れて、振子栓の孔で無い部分に塞さがれるこ
とになり、吸入が出来なくなる。そうなると、瞬間的に
吸動・自動復帰ニコチン蒸気取出栓が自動復帰して、ニ
コチン蒸気取出口は塞がって、ニコチン液の噴漏出を予
防する。そこで又本メカタバコを上下左右に水平に近く
戻し保つと、本体の気道孔は振子栓の孔と合うことにな
って、又再び吸入操作を行なえば、継いでメカタバコを
喫することが出来ることになる。本メカタバコの実物は
どのくらいの大きさになるかと言うと、大体「図1」の
大きさくらいとなる。その大きさだと、900ミリグラ
ムのニコチン液が可成りの余裕を以って装入出来る。今
日の巻タバコは大変軽くなって来ている。中には一本の
ニコチンの含有量がたったの0.6ミリグラムと言うも
のもある。煙害となるタールの含有量を極力減らそうと
すれば、そうなるようである。しかしながらニコチンに
少々中毒気味な人には一回の喫気で1ミリグラムは必要
であろう。したがって900ミリグラムは一般的には9
00回の喫気分と言うことになる。一日30回喫気する
人には30日分と言うことでもある。巻タバコ一本現在
11円から12円であるから、ニコチン液900ミリグ
ラム入りの本メカタバコは平均1万円で市販すればよい
ことになる。この価格であれば、本メカタバコは立派な
ものとなって、十分従来の愛煙家の嗜好に応え得よう。

ば、それは本発明11億本分に当たる。その金額は11
兆円にも昇る。何方かに宜しきエージェントをお願いし
て、JTを始め世界のタバコ会社に採用して貰うべく交
渉を進めたい。そして本メカタバコが社会の休息と団欒
の場で昔日の巻タバコの如く何らの疎嫌感を持たれず享
受されるようになることを祈っている。そして当然そう
なるものと確信している。こゝに先願の発明であるCO
公害の解決策である空中の炭酸ガスと地上の水とから
アルコールを採る着想である「加水分解式二酸化炭素固
定化利用法」やNO公害の解決策である自動車などの
排気を消石灰に接触させてその中の酸化窒素を消石灰に
化合吸収させる着想である「自動車煤煙浄化器」に続い
てタバコ公害の解決策である本発明が提案出来たことは
市井の発明家に過ぎない私にとっては洵に誇りである。
何らの資金的な或は環境的な援助や助成を全く受けるこ
となく、私とは逆に所有分野において資金的にも環境的
にも十分過ぎる程の援助と助成を享受している公共や民
間の組織内研究開発家にこれら国家存亡に係る白眉の急
務の課題で勝ち得たことは私のような市井の発明家にと
っては最も矜持とするところである。日本の文化と政治
を真に担って来て、日本近代現代の真の基礎を創って来
ていた大江系の長井永井の家系に真に大輪の花を添え
て、今日まで私を疎外して来た下層支配を目差す的な同
和人権思想の人には気の毒であるが、洵に以って欣快で
ある。文明と文化を真に新しく開き拓き得る者は新しき
者ではなくやはり古き良き伝統の十分に詰まっている古
き家系の者に在ることがこれら私の多くの真に実用的な
発明考案の創造を以って真に証明しえて洵にうれしい。
余計ではあるが、私はもう一方の伝統である政治の面で
多大の努力を為すに拘らずその地位を仲々与えられな
い。今日の民主主義の政治体制においても国民を代表す
る政治家は自己の人生に他人に誇り得る研鑽実績とある
程度の財産を築いた者であるべきだと考えている。国民
を代表する政治家と先ずなって、知恵知識と財力を築こ
うとするのは邪道だと思う。そういう人は無き者である
からどうしても知恵も知識も財産も金銭も有る者から盗
ろうとするようにならざるを得無いからである。しかし
今日の民主主義政治では大多数の無き者不十分な者の先
頭に立って有る者から盗らんとすれば、人気政治家とな
る。国家の人道的大道は正に地に落ち破壊のまゝとな
る。こういうところに真の文明と文化の創造は生まれよ
うもない。真に新しき文明と文化の弛まぬ創造無くし
て、どうして我国は立ち行こうか。具体的に見れば、一
体何を以って食糧や資源やエネルギーなど生活基礎物資
と交易しようと言うのか。本発明など私の多くの発明考
案が世に出て、ある程度の資金が持てるようになったな
らば、私は是非従来に不正的なしがらみの殆ど無い真に
新しい国造りの出来る政党を興したい。祖の一人大江広
元が新しい武家政治を開いて、今日の我国の社会文化の
基礎を創ったように、私もこの行き詰まった今日の我国
の政治経済に他人から精神的に物質的に泥棒をすること

の作用で以ってガス・ライターの操作ボタンを消火の方
向に押して(喫気者の)操作動作を中止させて操作ボタ
ンを復帰させてガス・ライターの火を消してニコチン汽
罐の破裂を惹起する過熱を防止しうるようにして過熱防
止装置を設ける。 (ホ) ニコチン汽罐が(喫気者の)喫気中に上下左右
に過傾斜してニコチン液が吸動・自動復帰ニコチン蒸気
取出栓の設けられている(今は開栓している)ニコチン
蒸気取出口を塞いで噴漏出する前の一定傾斜になると、
吸動・自動復帰ニコチン蒸気取出栓が自動的に復帰して
施栓してニコチン液の噴漏出を予防するように(喫気者
の)喫気を中止させるように気道孔の適当な箇所に気道
孔を自動的に閉塞しうる、そしてニコチン汽罐がその一
定傾斜の前の傾斜に復すると、(喫気者が)再び喫気し
うるように自動的に気道孔を開通させうる常直垂吊蓋栓
(振子栓)に負うニコチン液漏出予防装置を一は上下用
にもう一は左右用に設ける。 (ヘ) 以上の各構成要素を携帯性のあるタバコパイプ
型のパイプ(本体)に(喫気者が)その本体を親指と中
指とで火傷することなく支え持って人差指でガス・ライ
ターの操作ボタンを操作しうるようにその操作ボタンが
本体の先端となるように特に配慮してニコチン喫気器と
しての機能性を連係して持つように配設しうるようにそ
の本体を設ける。以上の如く構成された、機械タバコ
(メカタバコ)と呼ぶべき、携帯用ニコチン喫気器。
