Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent plural call setup signals from being sent to a common exchange by starting a start timer stating additional service after plural call setup signals are received from the exchange. SOLUTION: A 1st call setup signal 20 is sent simultaneously to base stations 5, 6, 7 from an exchange 4, and when no reply comes from the 1st public base station 5 in the zone of which a portable telephone set 8 due to any cause within a prescribed call setup wait time, the exchange 4 sends again a 2nd call setup signal 21 with respect to the same telephone set 8 to the base stations 5, 6, 7. Upon the receipt of the 2nd call setup signal 21, for example, the base station 5 conductive delay delivery service starts a timer to start the additional service. That is, the setup reception wait time is stopped at a timer start time 18 and a timer to start the additional service is started and the additional service is started at a time-out time 19.

In the second-generation cordless telephone public base stations 5, 6 and 7 as described above, when the mobile telephone 8 cannot respond to the base station 5 for some reason, another base station makes a proxy response, a so-called additional service function. Using a time-out of a response signal waiting timer from a mobile station such as the telephone 8 and a time-out of a special timer for starting an additional service as a control signal for starting such an additional service. There is.

Referring to the flowchart of FIG. 6 showing the problem in the procedure for activating the proxy response, the base stations 5, 6 and 7 are provided with the call setup signal 20 from the exchange 4.
In response to the call setting acceptance signal 23, the additional service activation timers are all started at the same time, and the timers time out after a predetermined time, that is, within the period from the time start 49 to the timeout 50. An accident may occur in which the call setup acceptance signal 48 from the public base station 7 of No. 3 is transmitted to the exchange 4, and a plurality of call setup acceptance signals are generated for the same telephone 8.

Here, for example, when the telephone set 8 responds to the exchange 4 via the base station 5 other than the base station 7 which responds by proxy, a meaningless call setting acceptance signal 48 is transmitted from the proxy response base station 7. As a result, the traffic of the line between the base station and the exchange 8 rises, and there is a structural problem that the exchange 4 cannot hold many base stations.

In view of the above problems and the like, an object of the present invention is to provide a public base station which solves the following problems. (1) Prevent multiple call setting acceptance signals from the same mobile phone from being sent to a common exchange. (2) To allow the exchange to own more public base stations. (3) Make sure that the traffic between the public base station and the exchange does not rise. (4) A simple processing means should be added.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION Referring to FIG. 1 showing a flow of an embodiment of the present invention, a first call setting signal 20 is transmitted from an exchange 4 to each base station 5, 6, 7 all at once. If there is no response from the first public base station 5 in which the mobile phone 8 is located for some reason within the predetermined call setup reception waiting time, the second call setup signal 21 for the same phone 8 is sent.
Is transmitted from the exchange 4 to the base stations 5, 6, and 7 again.
When receiving the second call setting signal 21, for example,
The base station 5 responding by proxy starts a timer for activating the supplementary service.

In this embodiment, the exchange 4 transmits the second call setting signal 21 to each of the base stations 5, 6 and 7,
A second incoming call signal of the paging channel is transmitted from each base station 5, 6, 7 to each mobile phone, and a timer for starting the additional service is started. Since the other processing functions are common to those of the conventional techniques shown in FIGS. 4 and 5,

Referring to the flowchart of FIG. 2 showing the additional service activation states of 6 and 7, the main feature is that the determination process S10 is interposed among a series of sequential control operations, and the other features not shown. The control operation is the same as the conventional one.

The public base stations 5, 6 and 7 make a judgment process S10.
In, even if the first call setting signal 20 is received,
None of them starts the supplementary service start timer, and the second call setting signal 2 for the same telephone is set.
For example, the base station 5 that responds by proxy starts the supplementary service activation timer in control processing S11 after receiving 1 and waits until this timer times out in the next determination processing S12, and then the next control processing S13. Start additional service with.

On the other hand, referring to the flowchart of FIG. 3 showing the control state of the exchange 4 in this embodiment, first, in the control processing S14, the first call setting signal 20 is sent to each of the base stations 5, 6 as in the conventional case. , 7, and within the waiting time for call setting acceptance, for example, it is judged in the judgment processing S15 whether or not there is a call setting acceptance signal from the base station 5, and if there is no call setting acceptance signal (N), In the next process S16, the second call setting signal 21 is transmitted, but when the call setting acceptance signal is received (Y), the normal line connection is executed in process S17. When the reception signal is received after the second call setting signal is transmitted in the process S16, the process similarly shifts to the process S17. That is, the exchange 4 controls so that the supplementary service is not activated when a response is received from any base station in the area.

Therefore, even though the base station which has received the response from the mobile phone transmits the call setting acceptance signal to the exchange, the proxy response base station calls the call setting acceptance signal for starting the additional service. In the above-described embodiment, the call setting signal for the second time is sent to start the supplementary service start timer, but the present invention is not limited to the second time, and the call for a plurality of other calls is not limited to this. As described above, the public base station of the cordless telephone according to the present invention is an additional service which, based on the call setting signal from the exchange, makes a proxy response when the mobile telephone in the area is not answered. Since it has a function and starts the supplementary service start-up timer only after receiving call setting signals from the exchange a plurality of times, a plurality of call setting acceptance signals from the same mobile phone are common to the exchange. Therefore, the traffic between the public base station and the exchange does not increase,
In addition, the control process is simple and can be incorporated into a conventional mobile phone.

Further, the exchange for exchanging signals with the public base station of the cordless telephone of the present invention transmits a call setting signal to the mobile telephone to a large number of public base stations in the area, and waits for a predetermined waiting time. If there is no response from the mobile phone, it has a function to send the call setup signal to the base station one or more times. Since there is no concern that data will be transmitted, more public base stations can be possessed due to the configuration, and there is an effect that a simple processing means can be added.
