Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to lessen additional construction of conduit lines when the branching processing of a cable becomes necessary by presuming the points on the cable which will require branching in the future after laying a ground line and preliminarily connecting the conduit line at those points using split joints which have a length enough to allow the branching of the cable. SOLUTION: When laying a conduit line 1 and a cable 3 initially, the points on the cable which will require branching in the future are presumed and the conduit line 3 is connected at those points using two-divided long split joints 2 which have a length L enough to allow the branching of the cable 3. Then, the cable 3 is drawn into the conduct line 3 to construct a ground line. When additional lines are necessary, only the earth and sand near the split joints 2 are removed and the cable 3 is exposed. Then, a branching process 4 is conducted at the exposed part of the cable 3 and the conduit line 1 is connected by installing a handhole 5 at the branched section 4 or using T-shaped split joints 6.
