Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To darken an image plane and improve visibility in accordance with a height of eyes, by forming a recessed part extended in a direction of eyes in an assistant driver side of an instrument panel, providing an image device in this recessed part, and providing a transfering mechanism making a vertical displacement in a holding member of this image device. SOLUTION: A glove box G is provided in a position in an assistant driver seat side of an instrument panel 2, a recessed part 5 is formed in an upper part of this glove box, an angle changeable liquid crystal television 6 is provided in a position reducing outer disturbance light in the depth of the recessed part 5. The liquid crystal television 6 is held to an inner housing 7 serving as a holding member, and it is tilted by vertically moving a tubular part 10 with a feed screw 8 by rotating a motor 9. An angle of the image plane center of the liquid crystal television 6 is changed by heights 4a, 4b of eyes of an occupant, at this time, a height of the liquid crystal television 6 itself is also changed, so that the occupant eyes can face an image plane at a right angle even in a condition bringing down a seat back 1.

However, when the passenger on the passenger side watches a TV or other monitor screen while driving or parking,
Such a complicated structure is unnecessary. However, even if a television screen is simply provided on the passenger side of the instrument panel, ambient light from the side window or rear window enters the television screen and becomes bright, making the screen very difficult to see. Moreover, it is desirable that no hard member such as a TV is installed in front of the passenger seat. Therefore, if a recess is formed in the upper part of the glove box of the instrument panel on the passenger side and the TV is set in this recess so that the TV can be seen, the ambient light will be small and the screen will be dark, so it is very easy to see the seat. When you try to watch the TV with the bag or the like lying down, there is a problem that the screen of the TV is blocked by the lower edge of the opening of the recess.

The rotation direction switching control circuit of the motor 9 is composed of a normal motor rotation switching circuit.
The rotation direction changeover switch of the motor 9 is composed of a manual changeover switch (not shown) for the passenger in the passenger seat,
A micro switch for detecting the tilting state may be provided on the side of the seat bag 1 to interlock with the tilting operation of the seat bag 1. The rotation stop of the upper limit and the lower limit of the motor 9 is controlled by pushing the normally closed contacts of the microswitches 29 and 30 provided on the side portion of the outer housing 20 to turn them off as shown in FIG. That is, when the feed switch 8 consisting of the right screw is rotated to the right and the inner housing 7 is erected, when the changeover switch for rotating the motor 9 to the right is turned on, the upper micro switch 29 is in conduction. 9 rotates to the right, but when the contact of the microswitch 29 is pressed, the circuit is turned off and the motor 9 is stopped. Also, when the changeover switch for rotating the motor 9 to the left is turned on, the micro switch 3 below is turned on.
Since 0 is conducting, when the motor 9 rotates to the left and the contact of the microswitch 30 is pushed, the circuit is turned off and the motor 9 stops.

According to the passenger seat television of this embodiment, the angle of the center of the screen of the liquid crystal television 6 is changed by the eye heights 4a and 4b of the passenger sitting in the seat bag 1 on the passenger seat side. At that time, since the height of the liquid crystal television 6 itself is also changed, it is possible to prevent the lower edge portion 5a of the concave portion 5 from blocking the lower portion of the screen even when the seat bag 1 is laid down.
The screen of the LCD TV 6 can be oriented at right angles to the occupant's eye positions 4a and 4b, so that the screen of the LCD TV 6 is prevented from flickering or becoming difficult to see even if the angle changes, which is comfortable. The property is improved.
