っていることが分かり、かつ夜間等の場合室内を明るく
照らすことから、落下物をよけたり、安全に避難するこ
とができる。従って、地震時全ての電気製品を必ずしも
開回路とするのではなく、地震時必要な電気製品を閉回
路とすることができる。又、電池9を格納することか
ら、たとえ100ボルトなどの電源が切れ停電状態でも
電池9により、内蔵ランプ5を点灯させることができ
る。この場合、既設コンセントから地震ブレーカ20を
引き抜けば、臨時の懐中電燈としても使用可能である。
