Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a sure holding operation automatically by providing a push sensor to a receiver without any holding operation by a talker. CONSTITUTION:A push sensor 11 is provided in the vicinity of a reception section 10a of a handset 10 to be projected always from the surface of the reception section 10a, by a spring 11a and when the talker touches the reception section to its ear, the projected part is retracted and a signal is provided to a changeover switch. The changeover switch 12 is connected with a hold circuit 31 in a telephone set main body 30 via a curl code 20. When the push sensor 11 is closed, the changeover switch 12 is open to stop the operation of the hold circuit 31 thereby releasing the talking hold state.

In the figure, 10 is a handset, and a push sensor 11 is provided in the vicinity of the earpiece 10a so as to be retractable. The push sensor 11 is always in a state of being projected from the surface of the earpiece 10a by the spring 11a, and outputs a signal to the changeover switch when pushed. The changeover switch 12 is a curl cord 2
It is connected to the holding circuit 31 in the telephone body 30 via 0. The changeover switch 12 is turned on when the push sensor 11 is off, and activates the hold circuit 31 to put the call on hold. In addition, the push sensor 11 is ON
Then, the switching switch 12 is turned off, and the operation of the holding circuit 31 is stopped to release the call holding state.

In the telephone of this embodiment, the push sensor 11 detects the presence or absence of contact between the ear 90 and the earpiece 10a, but a touch sensor or an optical sensor may be used instead of the push sensor 11. . When such a touch sensor or an optical sensor is used as the detection means, there is an effect that the holding operation is naturally performed without the ear 90 feeling anything strange.

Next, a telephone according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 3 is a partial cross-sectional view showing the telephone according to this embodiment. In the telephone of this embodiment, the sound pressure sensor provided in the air chamber of the earpiece detects whether or not the ear of the caller is in contact with the earpiece and operates the holding circuit.

In the figure, in front of the receiving section 10a,
A sound hole 41 composed of a large number of small holes is formed. A speaker 42 is mounted on the back surface of the sound hole 41 so as to face the sound hole 41. Further, the sound hole 41, the wall portion 43 formed on the outer periphery between the sound hole 41 and the speaker 42, and the speaker 4
2 forms a front air chamber 44. A sound pressure sensor 45 is attached to the wall portion 43 of the front air chamber 44. When the sound pressure in the front air chamber 44 rises above a predetermined value, the sound pressure sensor 45 detects this and outputs a signal to the changeover switch 12. When the signal from the sound pressure sensor 45 is input, the changeover switch 12 is turned off to stop the operation of the hold circuit 31 and release the call hold state.
