Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide sufficiently strong connection force between tatamis to prevent the slippage between the tatamis. CONSTITUTION:First face fasteners 16 with small area are fixed around at least three corners on the rears of tatami floor materials of unit tatamis 10a-10d, and connection devices 20A and B of the unit tatamis formed of thin plates 22 provided with second face fasteners 22 for interlocking with the first face fasteners 16 are prepared. The second face fasteners 22 are arranged to positions to which the first face fasteners 16 of every corner can be concentrated in the case the second face fasteners 22 are so constructed that every corner of a plurality of unit tatamis are concentrated to one point. The surface of a thin plate of the connection device 20A is divided into four divisions with a cross-shaped reference straight line or an extension line thereof, and when the cross-shaped reference straight line in each division is fitted to two sides of the corner of the unit tatamis, the second face fasteners 22 for interlocking with the first face fasteners 16 are mounted to positions arranged and opposed to the first face fasteners 16 fixed to the corners of the rears of the unit tatamis.

2. Description of the Related Art With the increase of wooden flooring rooms (between boards) in Japanese houses, the number of Japanese-style rooms in which traditional tatami mats have been laid has decreased, but recently, tatami mats have become available. As the noise prevention function, humidity control function, and heat insulation function of the equipment have been reviewed, and because it is indispensable to the Japanese custom of sitting more relaxed in the room, part of the plank room or It has become common to lay all removable and removable tatami mats.

For this purpose, it is necessary to easily lay, remove, and store the tatami mat. However, the conventional tatami mat is too large in size and weight and is inconvenient to handle. Unit tatami mats have been developed to reduce the size and, if necessary, have a smaller size (for example, about half) than the conventional product, and have been widely used. Also,
Such a unit tatami mat is also used as a kind of interior.

[0004] Such a unit tatami mat is laid on a relatively smooth treated floorboard surface in a planking room.
In particular, since the unit tatami is lightened, there is a disadvantage that the tatami mats are likely to shift during use and gaps are easily formed between them. In addition to this, if you reduce the size of one tatami mat, the required number of mattresses will increase, so
There are many places where the above-mentioned deviations and gaps occur, and there is a problem that they are easily noticeable. As a solution, male and female hook-and-loop fasteners are attached to the side surface of each unit tatami mat, and the hook and loop fasteners on the side surfaces of the adjacent tatami mats are engaged with each other to restrain and fix the adjacent tatami mats. The first thing to think about.

As described above, when the surface fasteners are attached to the side surfaces of the unit tatami mats and engaged with each other, the tatami mats laid adjacent to each other are to be restrained and fixed to each other.
In general, the side faces of unit tatami mats are not always flat and the angle of the side faces to the bottom surface is not likely to be a right angle, so the side faces of adjacent tatami mats are not necessarily parallel. It is expected that the male and female hook-and-loop fasteners attached to the side surfaces will not be completely meshed with each other, a sufficient binding force will not be obtained, and a gap will still be formed between the tatami mats during use. Even if they are completely meshed with each other, the tripping force due to the displacement of the tatami mats acts almost at right angles to the fastener surface, so that there is a drawback that the binding force is inherently weak. Not only that, even if a sufficient binding force is obtained, the existence of the hook-and-loop fastener itself causes a problem that a gap is unavoidable over the entire length of the boundary between adjacent tatami mats.

A plurality of unit tatami mats are arranged adjacent to each other so as not to create a gap between them, and the connector shown in FIG.
It is arranged on the back surface of each tatami mat so that the corner of each tatami mat faces the abutted portion. Male and female hook-and-loop fasteners are fixed at the opposite corners of the back surface of each tatami mat and on the surface of the connector, and since these are connected to each other, all unit tatami mats are
Mutual displacement is restrained and integrated. The weight of the unit tatami itself and the weight of the articles and people riding on the unit tatami not only further strengthen the mutual coupling force of the male and female surface fasteners, but nothing is interposed between the tatami mats. There is no fear that a gap will occur.

In accordance with the present invention, each of the four corners on the back side of the unit tatami mat 10 has an arbitrary shape (in the example shown in the figure, one side) in the area surrounding the point 17 at a distance L1 and L2 from the two sides forming the corner. The first hook-and-loop fastener 16 having a square shape of 3 to 10 cm is fixed by a staple or an adhesive. The first surface fastener 16 is preferably loop-shaped (female type) in order to reduce compression and crushing due to collision with another external object. As will be described later, it is desirable that the distances L1 and L2 are equal to each other.

In FIG. 3A, when a plurality of unit tatami mats 10 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 are laid adjacent to each other, the unit tatami mats 10 are displaced from each other to form a gap between adjacent tatami mats. FIG. 6 is a top view of one embodiment of a connector 20 for joining adjacent unit tatami mats, as may be absent. Cross-shaped reference straight lines 26A and 26B that are square (although the shape is arbitrary) and are substantially orthogonal to each other at the center point 28 thereof.
On a thin plate (preferably having some flexibility) 24 having the distances L1 and L2 from the reference straight lines in each of the four sections divided by the reference straight lines 26A and 26B. In a region surrounding the point 27, a second surface fastener 22 (preferably a protrusion or a male shape) of the same or similar shape which is aligned and opposed to and engages with the first surface fastener 16 is fixed by an appropriate method such as adhesion. It As will be readily understood and described below with reference to FIG. 4, the connector 20A is constructed by laying four (or three) unit tatami mats 10 such that each one corner thereof is concentrated at one point. It is suitable for use in mutual fixing of the central parts when the

FIG. 3B shows another embodiment of the connector according to the present invention, which is suitable for fixing two tatami mats to each other when they are laid adjacent to each other. As is clear from comparison with FIG. 3A, the connector of FIG. 3B corresponds to one obtained by dividing the connector of FIG. 3A into two parts, and therefore the reference straight line 26A of FIG. At least one of B may be perforated, or a cut groove or a through hole may be provided so as to be separable, or it may be separately prepared.

The reference straight lines 26, 26A and 26B serve as a reference or a guide when connecting these connecting tools to the back surface of the tatami mat, as will be described later. Therefore, these reference lines do not need to extend over the entire surface of the thin plate 24 as shown in the figure, and only in the vicinity of the center point 28 in the case of FIG. 3A, and in the case of FIG. 3B. It may be formed only near the intersection with the two sides. Furthermore, although it is not necessary to provide these reference lines at all, in that case, the area of at least one of the first and second surface fasteners should be made sufficiently large so that the installation position of the connector with respect to the tatami mat may be slightly different. Even if they are deviated, it is desirable that the joining surfaces of the first and second surface fasteners be sufficiently wide so that a sufficient joining force can be obtained.

FIG. 4 shows four unit tatami mats of the above embodiment,
FIG. 4 is a bottom view showing a state in which the connection tool shown in FIGS. 3A and 3B is fixed to each other and installed. The four unit tatami mats 10a to 10d are arranged adjacent to each other so as to form a square (or a rectangle) so that no gap is formed between them. 20A is attached. At that time, the orthogonal reference lines 26A, 2
Using 6B as a guide, if the corner vertices of each tatami mat are aligned with the center point 28 and their two sides are aligned with the orthogonal reference lines 26A and 26B, the tatami mat side will be the first on the tatami 10 side. The hook-and-loop fastener 16 and the second hook-and-loop fastener 22 on the side of the connector 20A are correctly aligned and aligned with each other to achieve the widest surface joining and the strongest bonding force. As will be readily understood, each second surface fastener 22 of the connector 20A then engages the first surface fastener 16 on the back of each unit tatami 10a-10d to prevent the tatami mats from slipping relative to each other.

The connecting members 20B shown in FIG. 3B are arranged at the abutting portions of each two tatami mats forming the four outer sides of the square formed by the four tatami mats. That is, for example, at the boundary between adjacent tatami mats 10a and 10b, each tatami mat 10
The first surface fastener 16 at each one corner of a and 10b and FIG.
And the second surface fasteners 22 of the connecting tool 20B are engaged with each other to prevent a gap or a crack from being formed around the outer periphery of the square. In this way, the four tatami mats can be completely integrated. Further, when changing the arrangement state or storing them, the tatami mats can be easily separated by pulling out the respective connecting tools. In the example of FIG. 4, the connecting tool 20B is arranged on all four sides of the quadrangle formed by four tatami mats, but some or all of them may be omitted in some cases.

Not only can each of the hook-and-loop fasteners 16 and 22 be sufficiently thin, and the (flexible) thin plate 24 that supports the second hook-and-loop fastener 22 can also be made thin, the substrate 1 that constitutes the tatami flooring material.
Since 1 and the board 12 themselves have a considerable mechanical strength (strength against bending), when a tatami mat is laid as shown in FIG. The flatness of the tatami will not be lost due to the recessed parts, and it will not sink when a load is applied. However, if necessary, as shown by the dotted lines in FIGS. 1 and 2, an auxiliary spacer 19 having a thickness substantially corresponding to the thickness of the first surface fastener 16 and the connecting members 20A and 20B may be added to the central portion of the unit tatami mat. If
Deterioration of flatness and subduction under load are virtually completely compensated. The location, shape and number of the auxiliary spacers 19 can be arbitrarily determined.

Furthermore, the present invention is not limited to a tatami flooring material made of a material having high mechanical strength such as the above-mentioned plywood,
It will be easily understood that the same can be applied to a unit tatami mat, in which the tatami mat is made of a material such as felt which has almost no strength against bending stress.

In the above, the first surface fasteners are provided at all four corners of the tatami mat lower surface, but they may be provided at only three corners. FIG. 5 is a bottom view showing an arrangement example in the case of laying six tatami mats 10a to 10f having the first surface fasteners only at three corners. It should be noted that, although illustration of the connecting tool is omitted in this figure, it can be understood that even with this arrangement, the mutual displacement of the tatami mats can be prevented. Further, although the unit tatami has a square shape, it is needless to say that the unit tatami may have a rectangular shape, and the size thereof is free. As mentioned above,
If the distances L1 and L2 from the two sides forming the corner of the installation position on the tatami mat underside of the first surface fastener are set to be equal to each other, no matter how the tatami mats are arranged, they will abut against each other. Since the positional relationship between the surface fasteners in the section is constant, the position of the surface fasteners in the connector can be fixedly determined, and there is an advantage that the structure of the surface fasteners can be standardized.

According to the present invention, when a plurality of unit tatami mats are laid adjacent to each other in a wood-clad room by taking advantage of the characteristics of the unit tatami mats that are lightweight and easy to handle, the tatami mats are misaligned and irregular. It is possible to solve the drawbacks such as the generation of a large gap. The binding force between the first and second surface fasteners is strengthened by the weight of the tatami mat itself and the load caused by people and articles riding on it, while the force that separates the adjacent tatami mats acts in parallel with the fastener surface. Therefore, a sufficiently large mutual binding force can be generated even with a surface fastener having a small area. Further, by using the connecting tool of the present invention, there is no gap between the adjacent tatami mats, so that the unit tatami can be used with a good appearance just like the conventional product. Furthermore, there is an advantage that the first hook and loop fastener according to the present invention can be easily applied to an existing unit tatami mat that does not have such hook and loop fasteners.
