クタ14が示すように、退屈した様子を現すようにな
る。

ている。また、音声伝送手段62は、バス66を通して

このように、接続されていることにより、アニメーショ
ン復調表示手段50には、ユーザステーション#1内で
発生した音声信号S1だけではなく、音声チャネル40
を通じて入力された他のユーザステーションからの音声
信号S2,S3も並行して入力される。アニメーション
復調表示手段50は、会議の映像要素を駆動するだけで
はなく、音声についても指定された通りに再現を行う。
アニメーション復調表示手段50は、多目的オーディオ
ビデオバス68によって端末30に接続されている。ま
た、ユーザステーション#2,#3からのオーディオビ
デオ制御信号AV2,AV3は、アニメーションビデオ
チャネル42からバス56を経てアニメーション伝送手
段に入力され、バス70からアニメーション復調表示手
段50に入力される。

ンの前にいるテレビ会議参加者達の位置や視線に関する
情報に基づいて、ムード制御手段74を制御する。その
結果、テレビ会議参加者が他の参加者に対して描いて欲
しいと希望する内容に従って、アニメーション式電子会
議室内の登場人物を操作することができる。また、参加
者が登場人物の位置や視線について、何も変更を加えな
くても良いと思う時には、位置や視線に関する情報は、
位置変更手段82や視線変更手段をただ通過するだけで
何の変更も加えられないまま、他の会議参加者に提供さ
れる。

ンの前にいるテレビ会議参加者達の位置や視線に関する
情報に基づいて、ムード制御手段74を制御する。その
結果、テレビ会議参加者が他の参加者に対して描いて欲
しいと希望する内容に従って、アニメーション式電子会
議室内の登場人物を操作することができる。また、参加
者が登場人物の位置や視線について、何も変更を加えな
くても良いと思う時には、位置や視線に関する情報は、
位置変更手段82や視線変更手段をただ通過するだけで
何の変更も加えられないまま、他の会議参加者に提供さ
れる。

シーンに、更に立体的な3次元音声の位置付けを加えた
い場合、音声位置付け手段88が、各ユーザステーショ
ンから送信される情報の中から、有効な位置付け情報を
検出する。位置付け情報を検出すると、音声位置付け手
段88は、シーン全体の音声を立体的に操作して調整す
る。それにより、スピーカ90及び92は、立体感のあ
る音響を実現する。音声位置付けは、話し中の会議参加
者に対応して行なうことができ、音声がシーンの対応す
るキャラクタから聞えてくるように設定することができ
る。別の方法として、話し手の位置ではなく、スクリー
ン上の動画化された位置に音声を位置付けすることがで
きる。音声の位置付けは、声のする方向を検出すること
によって、立体的な音響効果をもたらすように操作する
ことも可能である。或いは、声のする方向とは全く関係
なく、音声の位置付けを行うこともできる。
