のような耐水性支持体の上にPVAのような親水性樹脂及
びメラミンホルムアルデヒド樹脂、尿素ホルムアルデヒ
ド樹脂、グリオキザール等の耐水化剤とからなる結着剤
と、クレー、酸化亜鉛等の顔料とを主成分とする塗料を
塗布し、乾燥硬化せしめ、耐水性表面記録層を設けるこ
とにより製造されている。しかしこうして得られる平版
印刷用原板においては印刷耐久性を向上させる目的から
耐水化剤の添加量を増加すると、印刷汚れが発生した
り、特に夏季の倉庫保存のように40〜50℃程度の高温環
境下で保存すると、耐水化が進行し印刷汚れを生じる。
そこで耐水化剤を少くすると、画像剥離又はシワが発生
し、印刷耐久性が低下するという欠点があつた。また表
面記録層形成時の塗料に発泡が生じ易く、このため表面

を防止する効果がある。またこのアセチレングリコール
は表面記録層用塗料の塗布中における発泡を防ぐ効果も
あり、このため塗布欠陥のない表面記録層を形成するこ
とができる。このようなアセチレングリコールの添加量
は表面記録層重量の0.1%〜10%、好適には0.5%〜5%
である。0.1%以下では濡れの効果が少く、10%以上で
は耐水性の劣化、及び表面層塗布工程においてハジキが

類により異るが一般に(1〜4):(4〜1)重量であ

量2g/m2の親水性樹脂層を設けた。次に得られた耐水性
支持体の耐水層面に表−1に示す組成を含む20%水性分
散液を塗布し125℃で3分間乾燥及び硬化を行なつて付

することができる上、表面記録層形成時の塗料の発泡を
防止して塗布欠陥のない表面層を形成することができ
