“Prior Art” In a conventional mobile wireless communication system, there is a car phone as a system that provides a wireless network between a wireless terminal and a fixed telephone network and extends public telephone service to a wireless telephone. This mobile phone simultaneously calls incoming calls to wireless phones from a wireless base station in each wireless zone in a location registration area consisting of multiple wireless zones, and controls the wireless base stations from the response signals. The line control device determines which wireless zone the wireless telephone is in. However, advanced technology such as multi-station simultaneous transmission is required. Also, each time a call is made from the wireless telephone, a call is made. Since it is a method of determining the wireless zone, a complicated and large-scale wireless line control function is required, such as a large load on the wireless line control device. Further, it is necessary to determine the arrangement of wireless zones and the frequencies used in each wireless zone in consideration of interference between adjacent zones.

On the other hand, the wireless line between the wireless connection device 14 and the wireless telephone 17
In this example, a configuration based on multi-channel access control is applied to 18, for example, one control channel is shared by all the wireless connection devices 14 and the wireless telephones 17, and the communication channel is a plurality of channels. Each time a call is made, a free channel is selected and used. Channels for calls can be fixedly assigned to each wireless zone like car phones, but here, the wireless connection device 14 selects a calling channel that is not used in the surrounding wireless zones from all the calling channels. However, it is possible to apply a dynamic assignment type distributed control method that is used for each outgoing call and incoming call. The wireless connection device 14, like the connection device of a multi-channel type cordless telephone, needs to perform an empty channel search for periodically monitoring an idle call channel during standby.

Incoming Call Control Next, an incoming call control sequence for the wireless telephone 17 is shown in FIG. In this case, when a subscriber of the fixed telephone network 12 dials the dial number of the wireless telephone 17 which he / she wants to call, the connection line (subscriber line) 13 corresponding to the wireless telephone 17 is captured and the wireless line control device 11 is notified. Then, an incoming call using the incoming call signal (16 Hz signal) is made to the connection line 13 from the fixed telephone network 12 side. In the wireless line controller 11, this
When a 16 Hz signal is detected, the called wireless telephone (ID: C) is found from the subscriber memory from the number of the connection line 13 and the wireless memory 17 determines in which wireless zone the wireless telephone 17 is registered. Then, the incoming call signal including the ID: C is sent to the wireless connection device (ID: B) in the wireless zone. The wireless connection device that has received this incoming signal
Immediately after the call signal ID: A, I
Send from the control channel including D: B and ID: C. Since the wireless telephone 17 in the standby state constantly monitors the control channel, when it receives this incoming call signal including its own ID: C, it immediately sends out an incoming call response signal to the wireless connection device 14 on the calling side. Upon receiving this response, the wireless connection device 14 transmits the code (channel designation) of the communication channel to the wireless telephone 17 as in the case of calling, and shifts to the communication channel. After shifting to the call channel, the wireless telephone 17 rings the bell and starts calling. At this time, when the wireless telephone 17 side goes off-hook, an off-hook signal is sent out, the wireless connection device 14 receiving this signal informs this off-hook to the wireless line control device 11, and the wireless line control device 11 triggers this off-hook to send the fixed telephone network. Responding to 16Hz on the 12 side (closing the loop), the incoming connection is completed. The method of using the identification code (ID) at this time is a method of collating the other party for both transmission and reception as in the case of calling.

Location Registration Next, FIG. 4 shows a location registration processing control sequence for making a call and receiving a call by the wireless telephone 17 selecting the wireless connection device 14 of the connection destination, that is, the existing wireless zone 16. This example
A method of starting location registration by the user operating a special key of the wireless telephone 17 (in this case, a location registration button) will be described. When the user presses the location registration button on the wireless telephone 17 side, a signal requesting location registration is sent from the wireless telephone 17. The position registration request signal does not include the identification code ID: B of the wireless connection device of the connection destination, unlike the call origination signal, but includes only its own ID: C and system ID: A. Each wireless connection device 14 that has received this position registration request signal is connected to the wireless line control device 11.
In response, a location registration request signal including the identification code (ID: C) of the requesting wireless telephone and its reception level information is transmitted.
The wireless line control device 11 receives the position registration request signal transmitted from the plurality of wireless connection devices 14, determines the wireless zone 16 in which the requesting wireless telephone 17 exists, and determines whether the wireless zone 16 is wireless. The wireless telephone 17 is notified that the location registration is completed by relaying the connection device 14. At this time, as a method for determining the zone in which the mobile station is located, it is appropriate to use the strength of the reception level performed by the mobile phone, in this case, the level at which the location registration request signal is received by the wireless connection device 14.
