け、これら2対の噴気ノズルから噴出する空気流を前記
オリフィス型平吹き噴液ノズルから噴出する扇形状噴霧
の基部寄りの両端縁付近において互いに衝突させ、この
衝突により生成される1対の扇形空気流により前記円錐
化傾向に推進する扇形状噴霧を外向きに誘引して扇形状
噴霧の噴霧角を広角化するようにしたことを特徴とする

のもとに十字状断面に噴出するようにしたことにより、
扇形状噴霧の中心寄りの扁平部分を両側方へ誘引する共
に、扇形状噴霧の端縁寄り部分を中心方向へ押し込む傾
向のもとに、扇形状噴霧を推進過程において一旦円錐化
するようにし、かつ前記リップ状開口部8aから長軸方向
に適度に離れた両側には2対の噴気ノズル14,14を設け
てこの噴気ノズル14,14から噴出する空気流が前記オリ
フィス型吹き噴液ノズル5から噴出する扇形状噴霧の基
部寄りの両端縁付近において互いに衝突するようにし、
これにより円錐化傾向の扇形状噴霧を両側から押し潰し
つつ端縁方向へ誘引して広角化するようにし、このよう
な扇形状噴霧を一旦円錐化した後に扇形化するようにし
たから、霧化効果,ミスト飛散防止効果を損なうことな
く、テールの発生防止効果並びに噴霧流の乱調防止効果
を著しく向上すると同時に、均斉な霧化が実現するので
あって、これによりむらのない均斉な塗膜を容易に形成
することができ、殊に塗膜上に微妙な斑紋の生じ易いメ
タリック塗料を使用する場合においても、斑紋を生じさ
せることなく仕上げ塗装をすることができるのであり、
また上記諸効果を奏しつつ噴霧の中央部が減量するいわ
ゆる中抜け現象を起こすことなく扇形状噴霧を広角化す
ることができるから、塗装作業の能率化を実現すること
ができるのである。
