Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a monitoring video signal recording device which can monitor the video signals with high efficiency by recording only the video signals supplied from the video camera that is photographing the moving images and never recording the undesired still images. CONSTITUTION:The video signals supplied from the video cameras 1-3 are inputted to the switches 4 and 5. The output of the switch 5 is applied to a frame memory circuit 7 and a comparator 8 and compared with the signal preceding the applied output by one frame and received via the circuit 7 by the circuit 8. A movement deciding circuit 9 detects the movement of an image. An input switching circuit A 10 that detected a video camera which is photographing a moving image controls the switch 4 and an identification signal adding circuit 12 and adds the identification signal corresponding to the video camera to the video signal having a movement for recording.
