Abstract

PURPOSE:To wrap a body of an article with a sheet without causing wrinkles by a method wherein, when an upper face of the article is allowed to abut against the wrapping sheet by the elevation movement of an elevator and the side portions of the sheet are folded, the side portions are sucked by suction holes of folding guides and drawn downward along the body of the article according to the elevation of the article. CONSTITUTION:After a wrapping sheet A is fed up to a position of an elevation path 1a of an elevator 1 while both ends of the wrapping sheet A are held by suction conveyors 13 of a sheet feed mechanism, an article B is delivered onto the upper face of the elevator 1. Under this condition, when the elevator 1 is elevated, the upper face of the article B abuts against the sheet A, and each side portion A1 of the wrapping sheet A is folded by guide plates 4. When the upper face of the article B further advances between folding guides 5, 5, the side portions A1 are sucked to suction holes 5c by projection of both the guides 5 in the first step, and the sheet A is drawn downward by the subsequent elevation movement of the article B to be neatly folded along the body thereof. Thereafter, the side portions A1 are folded along the bottom surface B5 of the article by projection of the guides 5 in the second step and pasted thereon.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as disclosed in, for example, Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 4-45202, as a body winding device for a packaging machine of this type, rotatable pressing rollers are respectively attached to the tip surfaces of both folding guides to the hoistway of an elevator. Both sides of the packaging sheet by projecting toward each other, making the space between these pressing rollers narrower than the width dimension of the contents when the elevator rises, and letting the contents abutting the packaging sheet pass between both pressing rollers. The parts are pressed against both sides of the contents, and when the bottom of the raised contents reaches the top position of both folding guides, the elevator is stopped rising and both folding guides move to protrude. In some cases, by supporting the bottom surface, both side edges of the packaging sheet are pressed against the bottom surface of the contents.

However, in such a conventional body-wrapping device for a packaging machine, both sides of the contents move while being pressed against the pressing rollers by the lift of the elevator, and the bottom surface of the contents moves. After reaching the upper end position of the pressing roller, the pressing roller is moved orthogonally along the bottom surface of the contents by the protrusion movement of the folding guide, so the center position of the pressing roller is set to the extension line position of the bottom surface of the contents with the elevator. Until it reaches the extension line position of both sides of the contents by the protrusion movement of the folding guide after reaching, the corners located between the side and bottom of the contents are separated from the outer peripheral surface of the pressing roller, and pressing Even if you fold the both sides of the packaging sheet downwards along both sides of the contents with rollers and fold it, press it against the corners of the contents. Ra can not wrap-around in tight loose both side portions of the package sheet at the moment that away, there is a problem that significantly reduces the commercial value it is easy can wrinkles.

Therefore, in order to prevent this, the pressing roller is arranged so as to move in and out of the tip end surface of the folding guide, and is projected toward the corner of the contents by a spring so that the center position of the pressing roller is adjusted to the contents. The pressing roller is pressed against the corners of the contents until it reaches the positions of the extension lines on the bottom surface of the contents until it reaches the positions of the extension lines on the both sides of the contents. When the concave surface is formed on the inclined surface, there is a problem that the outer peripheral surface of the pressing roller is easily separated from the corner portion of the content.

According to the above technical means of the present invention, after the contents collide with the packaging sheet as the elevator moves up and down, the folding guides are caused to project when entering between the folding guides so that the respective leading end surfaces of the packaging sheets. The both sides of the packaging sheet are elastically pressed against both sides of the contents through the both sides of the contents, and the contents move between the ends of the elastically pressed ends, so that the both sides of the packaging sheet are along the both sides of the contents. To the direction opposite to the moving direction, and then the bottom surface of the contents reaches the downstream end position of the folding guide, and at the same time, the tip end surface of the folding guide disappears and the folding guide is moved to the contents without time lag. The projecting movement is performed along the bottom surface of the packaging sheet, and both side edges of the packaging sheet are pulled and squeezed in the same direction.

1. After the contents collide with the packaging sheet as the elevator moves up and down, the folding guides are pushed out when entering between the folding guides, and the tip ends of each are elastically attached to both sides of the packaging sheet through both sides of the packaging sheet. When the contents are pressed between the elastically pressed tip surfaces, both sides of the packaging sheet are pulled along the both sides of the contents in the opposite direction to the moving direction, After that, the bottom of the contents reaches the downstream end position of the folding guide, and at the same time, the tip end of the folding guide disappears, and the folding guide moves along the bottom of the contents without any time difference. Since it is pulled and squeezed in the same direction, it is possible to fold it while pressing both side edges of the packaging sheet regardless of the shape of the corners of the content.

Therefore, as the elevator rises, both side surfaces of the contents move while being pressed against the pressing roller, and after the bottom surface of the contents reaches the upper end position of the pressing roller, the pressing roller moves by the protruding movement of the folding guide. Compared to the conventional one that moves orthogonally along the bottom surface of the product, both sides of the packaging sheet can be tightly wound even if the corners of the content are formed to be concave, for example, in an arcuate surface or an inclined surface, and wrinkles do not occur. It becomes difficult to do so and the product value can be improved.

1. A packaging sheet supply path and an elevator hoistway are arranged orthogonally to each other, and a packaging sheet is fed toward the elevator hoistway, and a pair of folding guides are lifted up and down respectively with the hoistway sandwiched therebetween. Provided so that it can reciprocate in a direction orthogonal to the direction, the contents are pressed against the packaging sheet as the elevator moves up and down and wrapped around the packaging sheet, and both sides of the packaging sheet along both sides and the bottom of the packaging sheet due to the protruding movement of both folding guides. In a body-wrapping device of a packaging machine for body folding, the elevator is continuously moved up and down to the downstream end position of the folding guide in the elevator ascending / descending direction, and at the same time when the contents enter between the folding guides, the folding guides of the elevator are It is characterized in that the tip end surfaces of these folding guides are elastically pressed against the both side surfaces of the contents by making the protruding movement toward the hoistway.
