Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a small-sized remote controller and improve an operating characteristic by a method wherein a single function remote controller and a multi-function remote controller are separately arranged at a lid part and a main body part and these remote controllers are arranged at one remote controller. CONSTITUTION:This remote controller is comprised of a main body 12 and a lid member 13 which can be fitted and slidably arranged to a rail part 14 of the main body 12. The lid 13 is constructed such that a plurality of spring contact points arranged at a switch base plate 7 are pushed down by a depressing rib installed at a part of the main body 12. Then, the main body part 12 is provided with a switch base plate 2 having various operation switches 4 and the like and a liquid crystal displaying member 6. In turn, the lid part 13 is provided with an infrared ray light emitting element 1 acting as a general function element, various operation switches 8, the control base plate 7 with a control element 3 and a battery 5 for driving a control circuit.
