CONSTITUTION:The cartridge transporting mechanism has cell blocks 2A and 2B fitted to the inner surfaces of two honeycombs 1 opposite to each other, a top casting 7 and an under casting 3 as upper and lower parts for connecting the two honeycombs 1 and the accessor 9 positioned between the top casting 7 and the under casting 3 and also between the cell blocks 2A and 2B. The mechanism has a top roller 4 and an under roller 5 for turning this accessor 9 and a top rail 6 and an X-rail 8, which are fixed to the top casting 7 and the under casting 3 respectively, for guiding these top roller 4 and under roller 5.

固定された丸型棒のXレール8(紙面と直角方向をX軸
とする)と、アクセッサ9の上部に回転軸4Aを介在し
て取り付けられ、トップレール6を案内として回転する
トップローラ4と、アクセッサ9の下部に回転軸5Aを
介在して取り付けられ、Xレール8を案内として回転す
る凹形の面を持つアンダローラ5とが備えられていた。

よびアンダいものに前記回動機構の一部をなすトップレ
ールおよびアンダレールを取り付け前記アクセッサ部に
前記回動機構の他の一部をなすトップローラおよびアン
ダローラを取り付けていることを特徴とする磁気テープ
