Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of shrinkage and a cavity by feeding a mixture of a fabric base material, thermosetting resin, a friction conditioning agent and a filler to a die via a hopper having a trihedral division for molding. CONSTITUTION:A hopper 1 for supplying a mixed material to a punch is internally divided into two sections with a trihedral division 8, thereby making sure that the punch is evenly supplied with the material. Namely, a material comprising a fabric base material, thermosetting resin, a friction conditioning agent and a filler mixed with a blender, when supplied from the hopper 1, is divided into two portions with the division 8, and evenly supplied to the punch. Then, the surface of the material is smoothed to uniform thickness with a smoothing rod, and pressed with an upper presser. In this state, the material is heated and hardened for molding.

2. Description of the Related Art Shoe clutch linings are manufactured by a resin mold method when most of the materials used are dry powders. Then, for the reason that the lining density is made uniform and the curing time of the entire lining is unified, preforming may be performed before the main forming so as to have a shape close to a finished product. The present invention relates to a method for producing a body material by putting it in a molding die. First, the fibrous base material, the thermosetting resin, the friction modifier, and the filler are uniformly mixed with a blender such as a kneader, and the mixed material is put into a hopper set in a molding die. Then, the material is piled up on the punch in the mold, so that the material is uniformly placed on the recessed punch by using a seal stick or the like. After that, when the shoe weight is set in the molding die, the punch and the upper presser are raised and lowered so as to sandwich the shoe weight and the powder material, and heated and pressed.

In recent years, however, the demand for wear resistance of the lining has become stronger, so that metal fibers have been used as the fiber base material and the bulk of the powder material before molding has become smaller. It was Therefore, since the contact resistance between the materials becomes high, it has become difficult to homogenize the powder material on the punch by using the stick. Furthermore, the contact angle of the shoe clutch lining has increased and the arc has become longer, making it even more difficult for the material to be evenly placed on the punch. For this reason, the shoe clutch lining suffered from sink marks and defects.

In order to solve the above problems, the inventors of the present invention examined various factors affecting sink marks and cavities in the manufacturing process, and found that the shape of the hopper at the time of feeding the powder material was changed. This problem could be greatly reduced by a simple improvement, and the present invention could be completed. That is, the method for producing a shoe clutch lining of the present invention which solves the problem is to mix a fiber base material, a thermosetting resin, a friction modifier, and a filler, and heat the mixture after charging the material into a molding die. A method of manufacturing a shoe clutch lining for hardening and molding is characterized in that a triangular pyramidal partition plate is provided in a hopper at the time of charging.

The partition plate of the present invention may have any shape as long as it complies with the gist of the present invention, and examples thereof include a cylindrical shape and a semi-cylindrical shape in addition to the triangular pyramid shape. Although the material is not particularly limited, a material such as stainless steel having excellent heat resistance, rust resistance, strength and smoothness is preferable in the manufacturing process.

The hopper for charging the powder material of the present invention into the molding die has a triangular pyramidal partition plate, so that the powder material charged is divided into two parts by the partition plate to form a recess. The material is evenly distributed over the entire surface of the punch. Therefore, sink marks and defects in the shoe clutch lining after thermoforming can be greatly reduced.

Embodiments will be specifically described below with reference to embodiments. FIG. 1 is a schematic process diagram of a conventional and the present invention showing an outline of a thermoforming process relating to the shoe clutch lining of the present invention. In the conventional method, a fiber base material, a thermosetting resin, a friction modifier, and a filler are mixed by a blender (not shown), and the mixed powder material is put into a punch in a molding die through a hopper. To do. As shown in the figure, the powder material on the punch is thrown into a mountain shape. Therefore, I try to form a uniform thickness on the concave surface of the punch with a seal stick, but it does not work well in the actual manufacturing process with short tact. , Partly extremely thick or conversely thin. The shoe clutch lining thus formed is defective due to sink marks and cavities.

On the other hand, in the manufacturing method of the present invention, the mixed powder material is divided into two parts by the triangular pyramidal partition plate of the hopper and is spread almost uniformly on the concave surface on the punch. It is sufficient to make adjustments so that there is no portion where the thickness differs at the poles, and molding is performed. The shoe clutch lining molded in this way can be manufactured as a non-defective product with almost no sink marks or cavities.
