By the way, conventionally, in the case of bonding window glass directly to the window frame, as seen in Japanese Patent Publication No. 13214/1983, a window molding injection molded around the periphery of the window glass is engaged with an engagement hole formed in the window frame. It is also known that a mating retainer is installed and the retainer temporarily fixes the window glass, but with this type, if rainwater enters the window molding, the rainwater will flow through the engagement hole into the vehicle interior. It is desirable to solve this problem.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an engagement hole formed in the window frame in a molding body that is injection molded around the periphery of the window glass and that can be adhered to the window frame. In the case where a retainer that engages with the window frame is installed, a retainer that engages with an engagement hole formed in the window frame is installed in a molding body that is injection molded around the periphery of the window glass and can be adhered to the window frame. In the molding body, a plurality of bulges are formed around the molding body that bulges toward the center of the window opening with respect to the adhesive portion of the molding body to the window frame, and the retainer is implanted in each of the bulges. It is characterized by having been established.

(Function) The window glass is engaged with the engagement hole of the window frame by a retainer installed in the molding body at the periphery, and the window glass is temporarily fixed to the window frame, and the position of the window glass before the adhesive hardens. Displacement and floating are prevented, and since the retainer is located inside the bonded area, the adhesive functions as a sealing member to prevent rainwater from entering through the engagement hole.

By the way, it is also conceivable to form the molding body to have the same width around the entire circumference, use a portion a certain distance from the inner peripheral edge of the molding body as an adhesive site, and implant a retainer between this and the inner peripheral edge. However, in this case, if the width of the molding body is narrow, the width of the bonding area must be narrowed to ensure that the retainer can be installed.
On the other hand, if the molding body is formed wide, the field of view will be narrowed. However, in the present invention, since the retainer is installed in the inward bulge of the molding body,
Installation of the retainer does not narrow the width of the adhesive site and reduce adhesive strength, and the molding body bulges inward only at the site where the retainer is installed, resulting in a narrow field of view. Not at all.

(Example) The drawings show a wind molding applied to a quarter window window glass of an automobile, and with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3, 1 is a window glass, 2 is a molding body, and the molding body 2 is formed by injection molding synthetic resin such as polyvinyl chloride around the periphery of window glass 1 which is set in a mold. In addition, in order to improve the adhesiveness between the window glass 1 and the molding body 2,
It is advisable to apply an adhesive to the periphery of the back surface of the window glass 1 prior to injection molding.

The molding body 2 is provided with retainers 4 made of hard resin that engage with engagement holes 3a formed at corresponding locations in the window frame 3 of the quarter window at multiple locations around the molding body 2.
To explain this in detail, as shown in FIG. 4, the retainer 4 has a pair of claw pieces 4a,
4a and a head 4b at the tail end, the molding body 2 is injection molded with the retainer 4 set in a mold for molding, and the gap formed in the head 4b is filled with resin. Then, the head 4b is molded on the molding body 2, and the claw pieces 4a, 4a are arranged to face each other in the vertical direction when the window glass 1 is in an upright position, so that the window frame 4 of the window glass 1
When the two claw pieces 4a, 4a are inserted into the engagement hole 3a from the distal end side, the two claw pieces 4a are finally inserted into the engagement hole 3a.
The jaws 4c, 4c at the tail ends of a, 4a are connected to the engagement hole 3a.
The retainer 4 is configured to be engaged with the upper and lower opening edges of the window, and the engagement hole 3a is formed longitudinally in the horizontal direction so that the retainer 4 can be slid horizontally along the engagement hole 3a. This was made possible by adjusting the horizontal position of the glass 1.

Further, the retainer 4 is arranged offset in the direction of the center of the window opening with respect to the adhesive part 2a of the molding body 2 to the window frame 3, and in this embodiment, the retainer 4 is arranged inwardly at a plurality of places around the inner peripheral edge of the molding body 2. A bulging portion 2b was formed, and the retainer 4 was implanted in the bulging portion 2b.

When installing the window glass 1, attach the molding body 2
After applying adhesive to the adhesive portion 2a of the window frame 3, the window glass 1 is aligned and attached to the window frame 3 so that each retainer 4 matches each engagement hole 3a of the window frame 3. In this case, each retainer 4 engages with each engagement hole 3a as described above, and the window glass 1 is temporarily fixed to the window frame 3, thereby preventing the window glass 1 from shifting or floating before the adhesive hardens. , the window glass 1 is accurately adhesively fixed to the window frame 3.

Here, since the retainer 4 is arranged offset from the adhesive part 2a in the direction of the window opening center as described above, even if rainwater etc. enters from the outer edge side of the molding body 2, the adhesive layer A of the adhesive part 2a functions as a sealing material, rainwater does not enter the location where the retainer 4 is arranged, and rainwater is prevented from entering the vehicle body through the engagement hole 3a.

(Effects of the invention) As described above, according to the invention, the window glass can be temporarily fixed to the window frame by the retainer installed in the molding body at the periphery, so the window glass can be accurately fixed without shifting or lifting. The retainer can be adhesively fixed to the window frame, and since the retainer is installed inside the adhesive part of the molding body to the window frame, it is possible to prevent rainwater from entering through the engagement hole in the window frame that engages the retainer, and also to prevent the retainer from entering through the engagement hole of the window frame. By bulging the implanted portion inward, the width of the bonded portion can be secured to be wide and the adhesive strength can be increased, and since the bulged portion is limited to the implanted portion of the retainer, the field of view is not narrowed.
