On the other hand, in order to prevent rainwater and the like from entering through the gaps between the adjacent panels, as shown in the above-mentioned publications, packing materials such as packing and putty are filled in the gaps. However, this not only causes the construction period to be lengthened, but also when the sealing material is incompletely filled or deteriorates with time to cause cracks or shrinkage, rainwater enters by capillary action.

Therefore, in a curtain wall type wall structure, a so-called non-sealing method in which a drainer is provided on the panel, or packing or caulking material is arranged on the back side of the panel, or a waterproof wall is installed and the gap is not filled with a sealing material However, water drainers impair the external appearance of the wall and those that are waterproof on the back side inevitably require a special passage for discharging invading rainwater and complicate the structure.

Further, since waterproofing of the gap is performed by stacking flexible strip-shaped seal members provided on the panel, it is not necessary to fill the seal material after the panel is installed, which not only helps shorten the construction period but also seals the seal. The inside and outside of the member are maintained at the same pressure, and rainwater does not enter due to the pressure difference. Further, even if it should enter, it can be properly discharged by being guided to the lowermost end by the groove passage toward the gap between the panels and the gutter passage toward the space where the panel of the mounting rail is fitted.
