Abstract

PURPOSE:To record a message by changing the connection of a call to a message recording device by a command of a caller when a called party is busy. CONSTITUTION:When a caller extension subscriber (CLG) makes a call to a called extension subscriber CLD 2 when the CLD 2 is busy, the CLG 1 listens to a busy tone. When the CLG 1 makes a special number to make a connection request from the CLG 1 to a message recorder(MES) 4, a register(REG) 5 informs the reception of the special number to a CPU 5, and the CPU 5 controls an SPE 3 to set a link between the CLG 1 and the MES 4. After the confirmation of the connection to the MES 4, the CLG 1 sends a message to the MES 4, in which the message is recorded and hooks off. The CPU 5 stores the message destination information to the MES 4 and interrupts a busy line of the CLD 2 to inform it to the CLD 2 that the message addressed to the CLD 2 is recorded.

Description of the Related Art In a conventional telephone exchange, by setting a busy recording destination from an extension telephone of the telephone exchange to a message recording device, an incoming call to an extension telephone set to busy forwarding is automatically set thereafter. [Claims] 1. A message recording device to be connected according to a caller's instruction when a called extension is busy when an extension of a telephone exchange makes a call, and destination information of a message recorded in the message recording device. A call transfer method to a message recording device, comprising: a control unit that sends out and notifies that there is a message in the called extension that is busy. 2. The call transfer method to a message recording device according to claim 1, wherein the called extension is a multi-function telephone, and the contents of the notification are displayed on a display portion thereof.
