PURPOSE:To provide a cordless telephone set which attains the automatic dialing operations with the recognition of speech at a base station and all mobile stations. CONSTITUTION:When an automatic dialing is carried out at a base station with the recognition of speech, a connection control circuit 20 connects the voice signals received through a telephone receiver 19 of the base station to a speech recognizing circuit 21. Meanwhile the circuit 20 connects a radio circuit 18 to the circuit 21 when an automatic dialing operation is carried out at a mobile station with the recognition of speech.
