Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce storage area by a method wherein a supporting member is provided to retain a pair of plate glass holding members at a predetermined inclination angle and the plate glass holding members are made foldable to a height lower than the place of folding main supporting members. CONSTITUTION:A pair of glass holding members 4 having a plurality of plate glass securely arranged in a stacked condition therebetween is retained stably by a supporting member 2 provided integrally with the rear side of the plate glass holding members. When the plate glass is stored in a plate glass container, the plate glass holding members 4 are both inclined by the supporting member 2 at a predetermined angle to the container bottom and, by such an inclination angle, the plate glass holding member 4 occupies a vertical plane space smaller than the vertical plane of the container. When the plate glass container is empty, the plate glass holding members 4 and main container supporting members 12a and 12b are folded to make the container lower as a whole. In this way the plate glass container can be reduced in the area required for storage.

In recent years, the size of windows of buildings has become large, and the maximum size of sheet glass has also become large due to this influence. Also, due to the diversification of building window sizes and the diversification of automobile and train window sizes, the quality of sheet glass and the variety of products have become noticeable, and these have become larger or higher in quality. Measures are being sought for transporting sheet glass in a state where it is broken and dew condensation is eliminated.

By the way, when a method of stacking a large number of sheet glass on a pallet and securing them is adopted, the sheet glass is very fragile, so that it can be loaded on trucks, general freighters, and freight trains. There is an inconvenience that the loading and unloading must be done with great care, and the work efficiency will be significantly reduced. Considering that it is common to change the transportation means multiple times between the flat glass manufacturing plant and the destination, these operations should be performed at a place that does not have facilities for loading and unloading. There is a high possibility that it will have to be done, and these inconveniences will become more prominent.

[0006] Further, with the increasing variety of products, there is a high possibility that a certain number of sheets of glass will have to be stored as they are after being transported to a dealer or the like.
Moreover, if the glass is left wet for a long time, it will become cloudy and the commercial value will be significantly reduced. Therefore, a storage facility that does not cause such inconvenience is required. In addition, when storing flat glass in a storage facility, it is necessary to prevent breakage of the flat glass. Therefore, stacking multiple fixed flat glass on a pallet is not allowed, and the storage facility is not allowed. However, there is a disadvantage in that the area of is extremely large. Furthermore, when accommodating flat glass fixed on a pallet in a dry container, it is applicable only when the maximum size of the flat glass does not exceed the flat size of the dry container, and the maximum size of the applicable flat glass is restricted. There is an inconvenience that it will be done.

Further, when a method of supporting a plurality of plate glasses on a rack having a substantially A-shaped cross section and fastening them is adopted, since the rack itself is made of steel, the weight of the supported plate glasses is large. When becomes larger, deformation naturally occurs. Of course, the plate glass is also deformed. However, the rack itself and the linear expansion coefficient and the glass sheet (former 11 × 10 - 6
/ ° C, the latter is 8.5-9 x 10 -6 / ° C), Young's modulus (the former is 2,100,000 kg / cm 2 , the latter is 720,00).
The rack itself cannot stably support the plate glass over the front because the difference is 0 kg / cm 2 etc., and the amount of deformation that causes the plate glass to crack at the center of the rack, which has the largest deformation, causes There is the inconvenience of cracking. Therefore, the transportation of sheet glass using the A-shaped rack is applied only to small-sized sheet glass, and not to large-sized sheet glass. When an A-shaped rack is used to deal with a relatively small size of glass plate, the rack itself occupies a considerably large space in collecting only the rack after transporting the glass plate. As a result, the space utilization efficiency at the time of recovery decreases, which in turn increases the cost for recovering the rack. In particular, when plate glass is housed in an A-shaped rack and is housed in a hermetically sealed container in this state to eliminate the influence of wind and rain, the above inconvenience becomes remarkable.

The operation of the plate glass accommodating device having the above structure is as follows. The plate glass support members 4 are arranged so that the receiving portions 41 are substantially horizontal, and the plate glasses sequentially manufactured in the manufacturing line are stacked. Then, when a predetermined number of glass sheets are stacked, the regulating member 41e is rotated to protrude outward from the dividing portion 41a, and the glass sheet pressing member 41g is attached to integrate the glass sheets. After that, the upper edge predetermined position of the receiving portion 41 of the plate glass support member 4 and the front predetermined position of the base portion 43 are connected to the spreader suspending tool 48 via the wire rope 48a, and lifted by a crane or the like (not shown) to directly above the container 1. (See Fig. 3). In this suspended state, even a large-sized plate glass must be accommodated inside the container 1. Therefore, by tilting the plate glass support member 4 by a predetermined angle, the plane size of the container 1 becomes the plane size. Smaller than. Also, when tilted, the receiving portion 4 is caused by its own weight and the weight of the plate glass.
1 is largely deformed, and the plate glass is only partially received by the receiving portion 41.
It seems that the sandbag 45 will be cracked, but the height of the sandbag 45 is set higher toward the center, so it can be supported almost entirely without deforming the plate glass so much. It is possible to reliably prevent the occurrence of cracks.

Thereafter, the plate glass supporting member 4 is attached to the container 1
And the back surface of the receiving portion 41 is supported by the tapered surface 21 of the supporting member 2, the engaging member 42 is engaged with the receiving member 22, and the base portion is engaged with the base regulating member 3. Then, the same operation is performed on the other plate glass supporting member 4. That is, by performing these operations, the pair of plate glass support members 4 are housed back to back in the container 1. Therefore, in this state, the pair of plate glass supporting members 4 are integrally connected to each other by the connecting member 49 to support the plate glass.
Are stably stored and held in the container 1 (see FIG. 4).
In this state, the support member 2 directly supports the lower portion (the lowest divided portion 41a) of the receiving portion 41 of the plate glass supporting member 4, so that the amount of deformation of the receiving portion 41 becomes smaller than that during suspension, and transportation is performed. The plate glass can be safely held regardless of the occurrence of impact on the way.

The amount of dry sand as the cushioning member 45 is about 300 kg in the case of a 20-foot container complying with international standards. The above is the operation when the plate glass is housed for transportation and storage, but the operation when the plate glass is not housed is as follows. In this case, as shown in FIG. 9, by disengaging the coupling member 41b from the engaging member 41c, and by rotating the upper divided portion 41a to a certain degree and rotating it by approximately 180 °, the plate glass support member 4 is rotated. Fold. Since the folding direction of each divided portion 41a is set to be the opposite direction to the adjacent divided portion 41a, the plate glass supporting member 4 can be made bulky simply by performing the above work in sequence. It can be folded. After that, the upper main pillar member 12 of the container 1
By rotating b to a substantially horizontal state and then connecting the upper member 16 to the upper portion of the lower main pillar member 12a, the whole can be folded in a significantly low bulk (see FIGS. 10 and 11). Therefore, the space required for recovering the plate glass storage member can be significantly reduced, and the space utilization efficiency during recovery can be significantly improved. Of course, the space utilization efficiency for storing the recovered plate glass accommodating member can be greatly improved.

The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and for example, for the plate glass supporting member 4,
By supporting a plurality of auxiliary plate glass supporting members containing a relatively small number of plate glasses, it is possible to simplify the plate glass loading and unloading work at a plurality of plate glass transport destinations, and to some extent on the bottom of the container 1. By accommodating the dry sand, the plate glass support member 4 can be buffer-supported, and a hygroscopic buffer material such as silica gel can be used instead of the dry sand. Various design changes can be made without changing the gist of the invention.
