Abstract

(57)【要約】 【構成】 本発明の弁輪支持器具1は、哺乳類動物の心
臓の弁に設けられ当該弁の逆流を防止するための器具で
あって、弁輪の縁部に縫着される複数の縫着部5,5
と、これらの縫着部5,5間に弁口を横断する様に設け
られ前記縁部を近接させて支持する支持部7とを具備し
てなることを特徴とする。また、弁輪支持器具の取り付
け方法は、哺乳類動物の心臓の弁の弁輪の縁部を近接さ
せた状態とし、この弁口を横断する様に支持部を配置
し、前記縁部に縫着部を縫着させることを特徴とする。 【効果】 支持部が弁輪の縁部を互いに近接させて弁腹
に余裕を持たせた状態で支持することができ、したがっ
て、弁輪が拡大した場合や腱索が延長もしくは断裂した
場合や弁尖が萎縮した場合であっても、当該弁を完全に
閉じることができ、逆流を防止することができる。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、哺乳類動物の心臓の弁
に設けられ弁逆流を防止することができる弁輪支持器具
及びその取り付け方法に関するものである。
【0002】
【従来の技術】哺乳類動物の心臓には4つの弁があり、
右心房と右心室との間にある弁を三尖弁、左心房と左心
室との間にある弁を僧帽弁、右心室と肺動脈との間にあ
る弁を肺動脈弁、左心室と大動脈との間にある弁を大動
脈弁とそれぞれ称しており、前記三尖弁と僧帽弁の2つ
を房室弁と称している。例えば、僧帽弁が正常に動作す
る場合、左心室の収縮期には該僧帽弁は完全に閉じて左
心室内の血液を大動脈に送りだし、また、左心室の拡張
期には該僧帽弁は完全に開き左心房から該左心室内に血
液を流入させるのであるが、何らかの原因で弁輪が拡大
した場合や腱索が延長もしくは断裂した場合には、僧帽
弁は完全に閉じずに弁口の一部が開いた状態となり血液
が左心室から左心房内に逆流する(弁逆流)という現象
が起る。また、大動脈弁が正常に動作する場合、左心室
の収縮期には該大動脈弁は完全に開き該左心室内の血液
を大動脈に送りだし、また、左心室の拡張期には該大動
脈弁は完全に閉じ左心房から該左心室内に血液を流入さ
せるのであるが、前記房室弁と同様に、何らかの原因で
弁輪が拡大した場合や弁尖が萎縮した場合には、大動脈
弁は完全に閉じずに弁口の一部が開いた状態となり血液
が大動脈から左心室内に逆流する(弁逆流)という現象
が起る。
【0003】上記弁逆流に対する治療法としては、例え
ば、弁尖腱索を切除し残った弁輪に人工弁や生体弁を縫
着する弁置換術、あるいは自己弁を温存する方法として
弁輪の一端を縫い合わせて弁輪を縫縮させたり、弁輪に
リングを縫合固定したり等の弁輪縫縮術、及び弁を修復
する弁形成術等が知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかしながら、上記の
治療法には様々な欠点があった。すなわち、弁置換術に
は用いる人工弁や生体弁が極めて高価で寿命が短いとい
う欠点があり、また、弁輪縫縮術や弁輪形成術には弁中
央部よりの逆流は容易に消失させることができないとい
う欠点があった。
【0005】本発明は、上記の事情に鑑みてなされたも
のであって、従来の様々な欠点を解決することができ、
しかも、弁逆流を効果的に防止することができる弁輪支
持器具及びその取り付け方法を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記課題を解決するため
に、本発明は次の様な弁輪支持器具及びその取り付け方
法を採用した。すなわち、請求項1記載の弁輪支持器具
は、哺乳類動物の心臓の弁に設けられ当該弁の逆流を防
止するための器具であって、弁輪の縁部に縫着される複
数の縫着部と、これらの縫着部間に弁口を横断する様に
設けられ前記縁部を近接させて支持する支持部とを具備
してなることを特徴としている。
【0007】また、請求項2記載の弁輪支持器具の取り
付け方法は、哺乳類動物の心臓の弁の弁輪の縁部を近接
させた状態とし、この弁口を横断する様に支持部を配置
し、前記縁部に縫着部を縫着させることを特徴としてい
る。

【作用】本発明の請求項1記載の弁輪支持器具では、前
記支持部が弁輪の縁部を互いに近接させて弁腹に余裕を
持たせた状態で支持する。これにより、弁輪が拡大した
場合であっても、当該弁は完全に閉じて逆流を防止す
る。
【0009】また、請求項2記載の弁輪支持器具の取り
付け方法では、哺乳類動物の心臓の弁の弁輪の縁部を近
接させた状態とし、この弁口を横断する様に支持部を配
置し、前記縁部に縫着部を縫着させることにより、弁輪
支持器具を弁輪の縁部に容易かつ速やかに取り付ける。

【実施例】以下、本発明の各実施例について図面を参照
して説明する。 (第1実施例)図1は、弁輪支持器具1を示す斜視図で
ある。この弁輪支持器具1は、僧帽弁の左心房側に設け
られ弁逆流を防止するための器具であって、図2に示す
僧帽弁2の弁輪3の対側縁4,4に縫着される一対の板
状の縫着部5,5と、これらの縫着部5,5間に弁口6
を横断する様に設けられ対側縁4,4を近接させて支持
する弓型状に湾曲してなる断面流線型状の棒状の支持部
7とから構成されている。
【0011】縫着部5,5及び支持部7は、坑血栓性及
び坑溶血性を有する材料であるアルミナ(Al23)が
表面に被覆されており、また、縫着部5,5には弁輪3
との縫着部分に、坑血栓性及び坑溶血性を有する有機材
料であるポリテトラフルオロエチレンまたはポリエステ
ルのいずれか1種が被覆されている。
【0012】この弁輪支持器具1を僧帽弁2の弁輪3に
取り付けるには、図3に示す様に、弁輪3の対側縁4,
4を近接させた状態とし、この弁口6を横断する様に支
持部7を配置し、対側縁4,4各々に縫着部5を縫着す
る。
【0013】以上説明した様に、上記の弁輪支持器具1
によれば、縫着部5,5と支持部7とから構成すること
としたので、左心室の収縮期に僧帽弁を完全に閉じた状
態とすることができ、したがって、弁逆流を防止するこ
とができる。また、支持部7は左心房側に突出する様に
湾曲しているので、支持部7は弁尖に当たることがな
い。
【0014】また、縫着部5,5及び支持部7は、坑血
栓性及び坑溶血性を有する材料であるアルミナ(Al2
3)が表面に被覆されているので、生体適合性を向上
させることができ、また、弁輪支持器具1自体が血栓性
や溶血性の原因となることもなく、しかも耐久性を著し
く向上させることができる。また、縫着部5,5には弁
輪3との縫着部分に、坑血栓性及び坑溶血性を有する有
機材料であるポリテトラフルオロエチレンまたはポリエ
ステルのいずれか1種を被覆することとしたので、生体
適合性を向上させることができ、縫着部5,5の弁輪3
への縫着を容易に行うことができる。
【0015】また、弁輪支持器具1の取り付け方法によ
れば、弁輪3の対側縁4,4を近接させた状態とし、こ
の弁口6を横断する様に支持部7を配置し、対側縁4,
4各々に縫着部5を縫着することとしたので、該弁輪支
持器具1を心房側の弁輪3の対側縁4,4に容易かつ速
やかに取り付けることができる。
【0016】図4は、弁輪支持器具1の変形実施例を示
す斜視図である。この弁輪支持器具11は、縫着部5,
5間に2つの支持部7,7を互いに平行に設けたもので
ある。この弁輪支持器具11は、図5に示す様に、弁輪
支持器具1と全く同様の方法により僧帽弁2の弁輪3に
取り付けることができる。この弁輪支持器具11及びそ
の取り付け方法においても、弁輪支持器具1と全く同様
の作用・効果を奏することができ、更に支持部7,7の
強度を向上させることができる。
【0017】(第2実施例)図6は、弁輪支持器具21
を示す斜視図である。この弁輪支持器具21は、大動脈
弁の大動脈側に設けられ弁逆流を防止するための器具で
あって、図7に示す大動脈弁22の弁輪23の各交連部
24,…に縫着される3個の板状の縫着部25,…と、
これらの縫着部25,…間に弁口26を横断する様に設
けられ各交連部24,…を近接させて支持する三叉状の
棒状体からなる支持部27とから構成されている。
【0018】縫着部25,…及び支持部27は、坑血栓
性及び坑溶血性を有する材料であるアルミナ(Al
23)が表面に被覆されており、また、縫着部25,…
には弁輪23との縫着部分に、坑血栓性及び坑溶血性を
有する有機材料であるポリテトラフルオロエチレンまた
はポリエステルのいずれか1種が被覆されている。
【0019】この弁輪支持器具21を大動脈弁22の弁
輪23に取り付けるには、図8に示す様に、弁輪23の
各交連部24,…を近接させた状態とし、この弁口26
を横断する様に支持部27を配置し、前記各交連部2
4,…に縫着部25,…を対応させ縫着する。
【0020】以上説明した様に、上記の弁輪支持器具2
1によれば、縫着部25,…と支持部27とから構成す
ることとしたので、左心室の拡張期に大動脈弁22を完
全に閉じた状態とすることができ、したがって、弁逆流
を防止することができる。また、支持部27は三叉状の
棒状体であるので、支持部27の強度を向上させるとと
もに血流に対する抵抗を小さくすることができる。
【0021】また、縫着部25,…及び支持部27は、
坑血栓性及び坑溶血性を有する材料であるアルミナ(A
23)が表面に被覆されているので、生体適合性を向
上させることができ、また、弁輪支持器具21自体が血
栓性や溶血性の原因となることもなく、しかも耐久性を
著しく向上させることができる。また、縫着部25,…
には弁輪23との縫着部分に、坑血栓性及び坑溶血性を
有する有機材料であるポリテトラフルオロエチレンまた
はポリエステルのいずれか1種を被覆することとしたの
で、生体適合性を向上させることができ、縫着部25,
…の弁輪23への縫着を容易に行うことができる。
【0022】また、弁輪支持器具21の取り付け方法に
よれば、弁輪23の各交連部24,…を近接させた状態
とし、この弁口26を横断する様に支持部27を配置
し、前記各交連部24,…に縫着部25,…を対応させ
縫着することとしたので、該弁輪支持器具21を弁輪2
3の各交連部24,…に容易かつ速やかに取り付けるこ
とができる。
【0023】図9は、弁輪支持器具21の変形実施例を
示す斜視図である。この弁輪支持器具31は、縫着部2
5,…間に三角形状の棒状体からなる支持部32を設
け、該支持部32の各頂部を縫着部25各々に固定して
なるものである。この弁輪支持器具31は、図10に示
す様に、弁輪支持器具21と全く同様の方法により大動
脈弁22の弁輪23に取り付けることができる。この弁
輪支持器具31及びその取り付け方法においても、弁輪
支持器具21と全く同様の作用・効果を奏することがで
きる。

【発明の効果】以上説明した様に、本発明の請求項1記
載の弁輪支持器具によれば、哺乳類動物の心臓の弁に設
けられ当該弁の逆流を防止するための器具であって、弁
輪の縁部に縫着される複数の縫着部と、これらの縫着部
間に弁口を横断する様に設けられ前記縁部を近接させて
支持する支持部とを具備してなることとしたので、前記
支持部が弁輪の縁部を互いに近接させて弁腹に余裕を持
たせた状態で支持することができ、したがって、弁輪が
拡大した場合であっても、当該弁を完全に閉じることが
でき、逆流を防止することができる。
【0025】また、請求項2記載の弁輪支持器具の取り
付け方法によれば、哺乳類動物の心臓の弁の弁輪の縁部
を近接させた状態とし、この弁口を横断する様に支持部
を配置し、前記縁部に縫着部を縫着させることとしたの
で、該弁輪支持器具を弁輪の縁部に容易かつ速やかに取
り付けることができる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 哺乳類動物の心臓の弁に設けられ当該弁
    の逆流を防止するための器具であって、 弁輪の縁部に縫着される複数の縫着部と、 これらの縫着部間に弁口を横断する様に設けられ前記縁
    部を近接させて支持する支持部とを具備してなることを
    特徴とする弁輪支持器具。
  2. 【請求項2】 哺乳類動物の心臓の弁の弁輪の縁部を近
    接させた状態とし、この弁口を横断する様に支持部を配
    置し、前記縁部に縫着部を縫着させることを特徴とする
    弁輪支持器具の取り付け方法。
