Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the built-in antenna system employing one wire--shaped antenna element resonated in both frequencies in a radio equipment of the duplex system employing two frequencies for transmission and reception. CONSTITUTION:The antenna system consists of a wire-shaped antenna element 3 and a resonance circuit 4 comprising an inductive element 5 and a capacitive element 6. The wire-shaped antenna element 3 acts like two antennas with respect to two frequencies different from each other equivalently by being separated by the resonance circuit 4 in terms of a high frequency.

However, in the above-mentioned conventional built-in antenna device, the length of the antenna element is considerably shorter than the wavelength due to the fact that the antenna element is built in the radio device, so the radiation resistance is small, It has a very narrow band single tuning characteristic. Therefore, in a simplex wireless device such as a pager, the required bandwidth can be secured even with the conventional built-in antenna device, but as in a mobile phone or a cordless phone, a duplexer that uses different frequencies for transmission and reception is used. In a wireless communication device, a single built-in antenna device cannot secure the required bandwidth, and it is necessary to separately provide a built-in antenna device for transmission and a built-in antenna device for reception. For this reason, a plurality of built-in antenna devices are required in the housing of the wireless device, which is required to be downsized, resulting in a complicated structure and a high component density.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention divides a linear antenna element mounted in a housing of a radio into two parts, and an inductive element and a capacitive element are arranged in parallel at the divided parts. A resonant circuit is formed by loading the above into a resonant circuit, and the characteristics of this resonant circuit are utilized to cause resonance at two frequencies.

Therefore, according to the present invention, due to the characteristics of the resonance circuit loaded on the antenna element, the antenna element is equivalently disconnected at the location where the resonance circuit is loaded at the resonance frequency, and at the frequency lower than the resonance frequency. Since the resonance circuit has an inductance characteristic, it is equivalently operated as an inductance-loaded antenna element.
A single antenna element can be used for both transmitting and receiving frequencies.

[0010] Here, the transmission frequency of the Fukushinshiki radios f T, the reception frequency is f R, it is assumed that f T <f R. The resonant circuit 4 composed of the loaded inductive element 5 and capacitive element 6 has two frequencies out of two frequencies used for transmission and reception.
The constants of the inductive element 5 and the capacitive element 6 are selected so as to resonate at the high reception frequency f R. By doing so, the impedance of the resonance circuit 4 becomes extremely high at the reception frequency f R , and the antenna element 3 becomes almost equal to the equivalent disconnection by the resonance circuit 4. On the other hand, at the transmission frequency f T lower than the reception frequency f R ,
The resonance circuit 4 has a characteristic of becoming an inductance component. Therefore, the antenna element 3 equivalently operates as the antenna element as shown in FIG. 2 at the transmission frequency f T and the reception frequency f R used.

FIG. 2A equivalently shows the antenna element when operating at the reception frequency f R, which means that the antenna element 3 is equivalently cut off by the resonance circuit 4 shown in FIG. The antenna element 3 is composed of the portion 3a. FIG. 2B equivalently shows the antenna element 3 when operating at the transmission frequency f T.
Has an equivalent inductance 7. That is, at the reception frequency f R , the antenna element 3 resonates only in the portion 3a, while at the transmission frequency f T , the antenna element 3 is 3a and 3a.
It resonates at the portion b and the equivalent inductance 7.

As described above, according to this embodiment, the antenna element 3 and the resonance circuit 4 mounted between the antenna element 3 and the resonance circuit 4 can resonate at two frequencies of transmission and reception even though the number of the built-in antenna elements is one. As is apparent from the above embodiment, the present invention divides the linear antenna element mounted in the housing of the radio into two parts and loads the resonance circuit at the divided parts. At the resonance frequency, the antenna element is equivalently disconnected at the place where the resonance circuit is loaded, and at a frequency lower than the resonance frequency, the resonance circuit has an inductance characteristic, and the antenna element equivalently resonates with the inductance. This has the effect that one antenna element can be used for two frequencies.
