(Means for Solving Problems by Invention) An igniter operating circuit including an igniter and a diode having the opposite polarity to the above diode is arranged in parallel to a horn operating circuit including a diode and a collision sensor switch, and the igniter operating circuit includes an igniter and a diode having the opposite polarity to the above diode, and the igniter operating circuit includes a diode and a collision sensor switch. Therefore, the polarity of the current is reversed between normal and collision situations.

In the event of a collision, the polarity of points A and B is reversed by the operation of the collision sensor switch 13 based on the signal from the collision sensor, and the polarity of point B becomes + and point A becomes -, and the circuit including the igniter 2 is energized, causing the explosive to explode. The air bag inflates and deploys to protect vehicle occupants from the risk of a secondary collision.

(Embodiment) An embodiment of an air bag device according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. 1 is a horn switch.
3a and 3b are diodes, and 2 is an igniter.
Reference numerals 4, 5, and 6 are rotating side slip rings provided on the horn pad, and 4', 5', and 6' are stationary side slip rings. 7, 7 are provided with brushes 7, 7' at 180° angles on the rotating side slip ring, and 180° angles on the stationary side slip ring 4' as well.
Brushes 10, 10' are provided in the open area, and these allow electrical current to be applied to the pad regardless of rotation of the handle. The rotating side slip rings 5, 6 and the stationary side slip rings 5', 6' have a similar structure.

Reference numeral 13 denotes a collision sensor switch, which moves as shown by the solid line during normal operation and as shown by the dotted line in the event of a collision, and its polarity is reversed in response to a signal from a collision sensor (not shown). 14
is a horn relay, 15 is a horn, and 16 is a battery.

Reference numeral 17 is not directly related to the horn, but is a transmission circuit for various control signals, and the signals emitted from this are similarly sent to the reception circuit 18 via the slip rings 5 and 5' on the pad, and the command signal 19 is sent to the reception circuit 18. It's starting to emanate.

In the event of a collision, the collision sensor switch 13 is activated by a signal from a collision sensor (not shown) and changes to the dotted line position shown in the figure, which is the opposite of normal operation, that is, point B is + and point A is -, including the igniter 2. Electricity is applied to the circuit 20 through the diode 3b, causing the explosive to explode and the airbag to expand and deploy.
