Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely set the propriety of in-station transmission by providing a circuit connecting/disconnecting the transmission of in-station of detection information from an in-station signal input interrupt detection circuit in response to the information representing the presence of connection of an in-station equipment to an in-station line to the station equipment. CONSTITUTION:When an in-station signal input terminal A1 is connected to an in-station opposite device, information representing presence of connection is inputted from an in-station connection information input terminal F1 and an alarm output inhibit circuit 3 outputs output information of an in-station signal input interrupt detection circuit 2 to an alarm output terminal G1 as it is accordingly. When the device is not connected, the information representing the absence of connection is inputted from the terminal F1 and the circuit 3 inhibits an alarm signal raised from the circuit 2 from being outputted to the terminal G1. Thus, the connection/disconnection of an alarm representing the in-station signal input interruption is set automatically in response to the connection state of the in-station opposite equipment and the propriety of the in-station transmission of alarm is surely set.

2. Description of the Related Art As shown in FIG. 2, a conventional optical multiplexing terminal device outputs an alarm signal to an internal signal receiving circuit 4 of a transmitter 13 when an internal signal input disconnection detection circuit 2 detects an input disconnection. A manual switch SW is provided for setting connection/disconnection of output to terminals B1 to Bn. That is, by setting each manual switch SW, it is possible to set whether or not to connect the alarm signal to the alarm output terminal. The signals input to the local signal input terminals A1 to An of the transmitter 13 are time-division multiplexed by the multiplexing circuit 5, converted into optical signals by the electrical/optical conversion circuit 6, and then optically transmitted from the output terminal C. Sent to the transmission path. Conversely, in the receiving section 14, the optical signal received from the input terminal D is converted into an electrical signal by the optical-to-electrical conversion circuit 8, and then time-division separated by the separation circuit 9, and then sent to the intra-office signal transmitting circuit 10.
The signal is then output from the station signal output terminals E1 to En.

In the optical multiplexing terminal equipment, not all of the n intra-office signal input terminals A1 to An are connected to the intra-office partner equipment. In this case, the internal station signal input disconnection detection circuit 2 detects an input disconnection in the channel to which no internal station partner device is connected, but this input disconnection state is not a failure, so the alarm output terminals B1 to B
The manual switch SW is set to the OFF state so as not to issue an alarm from the corresponding channel of n.

An optical-to-electrical conversion circuit that converts an optical signal received from a transmission line into an electrical signal, a separation circuit that separates the converted electrical signal into a plurality of internal signals, and a separation circuit that sends each of the plurality of internal signals to an internal line. In the optical multiplexing terminal equipment including a plurality of internal signal transmitting circuits and a receiving section having a plurality of internal signal transmitting circuits, each of the internal signal receiving circuits receives the internal signal input in response to information indicating whether or not an internal equipment is connected to an internal line. It has an alarm output prohibition circuit that disconnects and disconnects the transmission of detection information from the disconnection detection circuit within the station.
