2. Description of the Related Art Texturing the surface of aluminum or aluminum alloys has been conventionally practiced. For example, combinations of various dyes or pigments that utilize the adsorption properties of porous oxide films on aluminum or aluminum alloys and anodization treatment are disclosed in Japanese Patent Publications No. 34-3863 and No. 44-9.
It is disclosed in Publication No. 804. With these methods, a wide range of colors can be obtained; however, even if sealing treatment and painting are performed after dyeing, discoloration and fading of the color cannot be avoided, and weather resistance is poor, so they are not suitable for long-term use. On the other hand, a method in which a resist film is formed on an anodic oxide film and then a similar type of anodizing treatment is applied is disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 35-156767, in which a resist film is formed on an aluminum surface, and then a barrier film is formed by a first anodic oxidation treatment. Japanese Patent Publication No. 52-3895 discloses a method of forming a resist film on the aluminum surface, removing the resist film, and then performing a second anodic oxidation treatment to form a colored film. A method for producing a target film is disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 52-21459. These methods all utilize the coloring of the anodic oxide film, so they have excellent weather resistance.
Although there is no discoloration or fading, the coloring is limited depending on the type of aluminum or aluminum alloy used, the range of coloring is narrow, and it is difficult to obtain clear patterns. Mata Tokko Sho 6
Publication No. 0-58792 describes an engraving method in which a metal body whose surface is coated with a corrosive liquid is repeatedly brought into contact with a matrix formed of a corrosion-resistant material and having an uneven pattern on its surface while being pressed. Accordingly, a method for forming an uneven pattern on the surface of a metal body that is the opposite of the uneven pattern on the surface of the matrix is disclosed. With this method, the depth and direction of etching can be controlled and a pattern with clear outlines can be obtained, but the coloring is no better than conventional methods, so the coloring is limited and the range of coloring is narrow. I can't do it.

The conventional methods for coloring and patterning aluminum or aluminum alloys have the above-mentioned drawbacks. The present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks, and is easy to operate, has different color tones, shows clear patterns, has excellent weather resistance, and does not discolor or fade, so aluminum or aluminum is suitable for long-term use. The object of the present invention is to provide a colored pattern material or a method for forming a colored pattern on an alloy.

[0005] The laminated aluminum or aluminum alloy material used in the present invention is a coating layer material (hereinafter referred to as a coating material) of aluminum or aluminum alloy having an alloy composition different from that of the base material on the aluminum or aluminum alloy that is the base material. ) can be easily produced using commonly used manufacturing methods such as physical, vacuum, chemical vapor deposition, pressure bonding, and thermal spraying. The thickness of the skin material is determined by the desired unevenness,
It is selected arbitrarily depending on the shape of the pattern such as the outline, sharpness, width, and height of the convex pattern, etc., but in general, it is 0.002/0.
.. It can be said that a thickness of about 2 mm is sufficient. Further, the base material may be a plate material that is thicker than the skin material, or may be a lump material made by a powder manufacturing method, etc., as appropriate.

[0006] The thus obtained laminated aluminum or aluminum alloy material is (a) surface-cut using a diamond cut, a cutting tool, a wire brush, etc., and then sealed with an anodized film or painted. , (b) Cut the skin material without masking by a conventional method such as embossing, and perform the surface treatment according to (a) above to obtain a pattern on the surface of the base material and the skin material, (c) or photograph After printing a masking pattern on the surface of the skin material using a method such as exposure to light or screen printing, the surface treatment according to (a) above is carried out after treatments such as etching by a conventional method or film removal treatment by a conventional method after blasting. Alternatively, the desired colored patterned aluminum or aluminum alloy material can be obtained by anodizing or electrolytically coloring the aluminum or aluminum alloy material, followed by sealing treatment or painting. However, the depth reduced by mechanical cutting, etching, and other various treatments mentioned above, such as cutting, etching, and brightening of the skin material, shall be equal to or greater than the thickness of the skin material, and at least the thickness of the skin material shall be The reduction depth needs to be adjusted so that another base metal surface is exposed.

[0007] As a result of the above treatment, the skin material and the base material having an alloy composition different from the skin material are exposed in a pattern on the surface of the skin material of the aluminum or aluminum alloy material to be anodized. When such a laminated material is anodized by a conventional method, an oxide film having different colors depending on the alloy compositions of the skin material and the base material can be obtained in a single treatment step. In other words, by arbitrarily selecting the combination of skin materials and base materials with different synthetic compositions and anodizing conditions for the aluminum or aluminum alloy materials used, it is possible to create patterns with various colors and combinations of hues and colors. available. By sealing or painting using a conventional method after anodizing, the color and coloring are stabilized, excellent weather resistance, and a clear pattern that does not change or fade, making it possible to use it for a long time.

As is clear from the above, any laminated aluminum or aluminum alloy material can be used in the present invention as long as it is a laminated aluminum or aluminum alloy material consisting of a skin material and a base material having different compositions. Patterns with different tones can be obtained depending on the alloy composition of the skin material and the base material, but considering the contrast of the patterns that can be obtained, the base material and the skin material are generally
It can be said that it is preferable to use the combination shown in 1.
