Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow a terminal equipment to always receive a regular polarity inversion signal by inverting the polarity of a bypass means and connecting it to the terminal equipment when it is discriminated that the polarity of a telephone line at loop closing is inverted. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 2 receives a polarity inversion signal depending on the response of an opposite party via a DC loop incoming call polarity inversion detection circuit 6 after the end of transmission of a dial signal. When a telephone line terminal L1 at DC loop closing is at a negative level, a relay C in a relay circuit 8 is driven to close a contact (c) and relays A, D in the relay circuit 8 are driven to release relay contacts a, d thereby connecting the telephone line and the terminal equipment 1 through a bypass 11. Thus, the terminal equipment always receives a regular polarity inversion signal from the telephone line and malfunction attended with the reception of the polarity inversion signal is prevented.

"Prior Art J" Conventionally, terminal devices connected to this type of communication management device were
If you close the loop by paying the communication fee when making a call and then manipulate the dial number of the other party's device, this will be detected by the communication management device. The communication management device inputs these signals to close a DC loop of the telephone line, and also sends a dial signal corresponding to the input dial number to the telephone line. Then, the communication management device detects the polarity inversion signal from the telephone line and identifies the response of the other party's device, and based on the identification result of this communication management device, the terminal device initiates a call with the other party's device via the telephone line. and initiate communication.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, the above-mentioned terminal device is equipped with a function of directly detecting a polarity inversion signal from a telephone line to identify a response from the other party and automatically communicate with the other party's device. In some cases, a communication management device that accommodates such a terminal device is connected to telephone line terminal L1. .. .. If the polarity of L2 is set to the correct terminal, can the other party's response be detected normally? For example, if the polarity of L2 is reversed, check whether the terminal equipment can detect the other party's response normally. cannot detect polarity reversal, and therefore, in this case, there is a problem that the device malfunctions and automatic communication with the other device cannot be performed.

When the communication management device is in an energized state, a coin is inserted in order for the terminal device 1 to make a call, and the control circuit 2 is connected to the relay circuit 8.
is driven to switch the relay contact d to the DC loop/dial detection circuit 3 side, and current is supplied to the terminal bag W1. When the loop is closed due to off-hook, the control circuit 2 detects this via the loop dial detection circuit 'R3, and sends a dial tone to the terminal device 1 via the transformer T2 and capacitors C2 and C3. . Subsequently, when a dial signal is sent from the terminal device 1, this dial signal is detected by the loop dial detection circuit 3 or the transformer T2, and the lowest communication charge corresponding to this dial number is calculated. If the calculated fee is greater than the amount of coins inserted, a request is made to insert additional coins, but if the amount of coins inserted is greater, the relay circuit 8 is driven to contact a. is switched to the diode bridge DB side and the contact A is switched to the contact A side, and the DC loop dial sending control circuit 7 is controlled to close the DC loop of the telephone line. At this time, which of the telephone line terminals LI and L2 is switched It detects and stores whether the terminal side is at a positive potential, and automatically sends a dial signal corresponding to the input dial number to the telephone line.

After the transmission of the dial signal is completed, the control circuit 2 connects the transformers Tl and T2, and causes the terminal device 1 to listen to a ringback tone indicating that the other party is calling from the telephone line or a busy tone indicating that the other party is busy, When the other party is calling, a polarity inversion signal due to the other party's response is detected via the DC loop/incoming call/polarity inversion detection circuit 6. When the other party's response is detected, if the telephone line terminal L1- is at a negative potential when the DC loop is closed, the relay PJI@8
While driving the inner relay C to make the contact C,

By restoring d and connecting the telephone line and the terminal device 1 via the bypass 11, control is performed to reverse the polarity of the terminals LL and L2 as seen from the terminal device 1 side. Notify response (polarity reversal). As a result, the control circuit 2 collects the unit communication charge every predetermined time,
If there is a shortage, processing such as controlling the buzzer 9 to send out a reminder sound is performed. In this way, calls and communications are carried out with the other party's device, and the completion of these is then monitored. , the control circuit 2 determines the end of the communication based on the loop release signal of the terminal device 1 detected by the DC loop/incoming call/polarity reversal detection circuit 6, and executes call termination processing when the loop is released.

That is, first, the relay circuit 8 is driven and the relay contact d
When the current is switched to the loop dial detection circuit 3 side and current is supplied from the current supply circuit 4 to the terminal device 1, in step 50, the terminal device 1 goes off-hook and a dial signal is sent by subsequent dial key operation, etc. The transmission processing is performed and these signals are detected by the loop dial detection circuit 3 or the transformer T2. In step 51, the relay circuit 8 is driven to connect the relay contact a to the diode bridge DB@, and Switch the relay contacts to contacts alljl, control the DC loop/dial sending control circuit 7 to close the DC loop of the telephone line, and change the polarity of the telephone line terminals Li and L2 to the DC loop/incoming call/polarity. Detection is performed based on the detection output of the inversion detection circuit 6, and then the DC loop and dial transmission control circuit 7 are controlled to transmit the dial signal received from the terminal device I to the telephone line.

Further, if the telephone line terminal L1 side is at a negative potential when the DC loop is closed and the determination is "N" in step 52, the detection of polarity reversal in which the telephone line terminal LI11J becomes a positive potential is monitored in step 55. , the other party responds, and as a result, if a polarity reversal such that the terminal L1 side becomes a positive potential is detected and the determination is "Y" in step 55, the relay C in the relay circuit 8 is driven in step 56. Then, the contact C is made, and the potential of the two-wire jump of the bypass 11 is controlled to be reversed, and the process moves to step 54. Then, in step 54, the relays A and D in the relay circuit 8 are driven to restore the relay contacts a and d, and the telephone line and the terminal device 1 are connected via the bypass 11 in which the potential between the lines is reversed. As a result, a normal polarity inversion signal, that is, a polarity inversion signal in which the telephone line terminal L1 has a negative potential, can be sent to the terminal device 1. As a result, when the called party answers, a normal polarity inversion signal is always sent to the terminal device 1, and the terminal device W1 can reliably detect the other party's response.
