<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> In the photo sensor having the above configuration, the object to be detected must always enter from a fixed direction, and failures such as paper jams may occur if the object to be detected enters in a different direction. For this reason, it is necessary to accurately position the detection object in each direction of intrusion in accordance with each built-in device, and accurate installation work is required during assembly and adjustment.

<Means for Solving the Problems> The present invention was devised to solve the above problems, and consists of a sensor body in which a light-emitting element and a light-receiving element are housed across a gap, and an object to be detected. In a photo sensor comprising an actuator unit that rotates a shielding plate disposed in a gap by contact with a movable plate, contact between the movable plate and an object to be detected that enters the movable plate from the shielding plate side, or the above-mentioned When the movable plate comes into contact with an object to be detected that enters in a direction substantially parallel to the axis of the shaft, the shielding plate is rotated around the shaft, and the incident light from the light-emitting element is directed to the light-receiving element. The shielding plate is provided substantially perpendicular to a shaft portion supported by the sensor body, and a movable plate is provided on the opposite side of the shielding plate around the shaft portion, and
The photo sensor is characterized in that the movable plate is a semicircular plate with a semi-arc-shaped edge facing upward, or a triangular plate having sides with a predetermined slope on the left and right with the top as the center.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing the actuator section 1. FIG. This actuator section 1 has a movable plate 11 and a shielding plate 12 that are substantially perpendicular to a shaft section 13 and are mounted on opposite sides of the shaft section 13 . The movable plate 11 is disposed in an entry path through which a thin plate-like object to be detected, such as paper, ribbon, film, wafer, or floppy disk, passes, and comes into contact with the object to be detected.

In such a photo sensor, as shown in the perspective view of FIG.
a is fitted into the bearing 25a of the sensor main body 2, and the other support shaft 13b is fitted into the bearing 25b to make the actuator part 1 rotatable around its shaft part 13. Further, in this state, the shielding plate 12 is biased by the coil spring V so that it is housed in the cavity 24. That is, the light emitting element 22 and the light receiving element 2
Shield between 3. As shown in the perspective view of FIG. 4, when an object to be detected enters from, for example, the X direction, the movable plate 11 itself has a sloped shape with its apex upward relative to the direction of intrusion. The object to be detected comes into contact with the movable plate 11 and moves smoothly in the X direction. During this contact, the shielding plate 12 rotates about the shaft portion 13 in the direction of the arrow (see FIG. 4) to release the shielding state between the light emitting element 22 and the light receiving element 23. That is, if an object to be detected enters from the X direction orthogonal to the shaft portion 13 and comes into contact with the movable plate 11, a signal is sent from the light emitting element 22 to the light receiving element 23, thereby detecting the intrusion of the object. Furthermore, even when the object to be detected enters from the Y direction or the Z direction, which is substantially parallel to the axis of the shaft portion 13, the detection function in each direction can be maintained by bringing the object into contact with the movable plate 11.

<Effects of the invention> As described above, the photo sensor according to the invention has a light emitting element and a light receiving element integrally built into the sensor body, and the movable plate itself of the actuator section is formed in a triangular or semicircular shape. Therefore, even objects to be detected whose intrusion directions are slightly different can be smoothly brought into contact and moved in a predetermined direction, so there is no need for fine adjustment in accordance with the intrusion direction of the object to be detected.
