Abstract

PURPOSE:To output an operation sound representing no adjustment from a speaker as soon as key operation is started by sending an exclusive operation sound command to an adjustment device from a head unit at the start of key operation prior to a control command and generating the operation sound when the adjustment device receives the operation sound command and outputting it. CONSTITUTION:A sound field sound quality adjustment device 20 is provided with a DSP (digital signal processor) 21 providing a sound field and sound quality characteristic to an audio signal coming from a head unit 10 and with a CPU 22 providing a parameter for setting the characteristic to the DSP 21. Upon the receipt of a command of operation sound production from the CPU 22, the DSP 21 generates and outputs a prescribed operation sound. The CPU 22 does not command generation of operation sound through the reception of a control command but generates the command when the CPU 22 receives the succeeding operation sound command. The operation sound command is outputted from the CPU 12 when a key operation section 13 starts key operation. Thus, the operation sound from the DSP 21 is outputted immediately with no adjustment corresponding to the key operation.
