Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress the effect of a spurious radiation wave by incorporating a serial/parallel(S/P) converter to a connector of a sender side, incorporating a P/S converter to a connector of a receiver side and interconnecting both the connectors with plural signal lines. CONSTITUTION:A serial/parallel(S/P) converter CV 11 is incorporated to a connector 5 and a P/S CV 12 is incorporated in a connector 6 and both connectors are interconnected by a signal line 13. A computer main body 11 converts an internal P data into an S data by the P/S CV 12 and sends the converted data into the (S/P) converter CV 11, where the data is again converted into a P data. The data is sent as it is to the signal line 13 and inputted to the P/S CV 12, where the data is converted into the S data again and given to an external input output device 2. Thus, the main body 1 sends/receives the S data with the connector 6 and between the connector 6 and the device 2 but handles the P data on the signal line 13. Thus, when number of the signal lines is (n), the frequency of the P data is 1/n with respect to the frequency of the S data and the effect of spurious radiation is suppressed.

[Function] In this invention, an S/P converter is built into one side of the connector, a P/S converter is built into the other side, and a plurality of signal lines are connected between the two connectors, so that a signal line for transmitting parallel data can be used. If there are n pieces, the frequency of parallel data is l/n of that of serial data.
