Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分！ＩＩＰ　］ 本発明は、文書処理装置等におけるデータベース検索方
法およびこれを用いる書式付き文み出力方法に関する。
［従来の技術］ ワードプロセッサ等において、データを書式付きで印刷
する例としては、宛名１きが良く知られている。これは
、葉書の書式に関する情報をワードプロセッサが予め有
することによって実現されている。これに対して、任意
の書式を持つ記入用紙にデータを出力する場合、画像入
力による書式の解析と、記入すべきデータの検索と、そ
の書式に合せた出力が必要になる。
画像入力による書式の解析を行う装置については、例え
ば、特開平１−１１９８８５号公報に開示された装置が
知られている。これは、表形式よ一式を持つ文書を画像
入力し、罫線と文字列との識別を行うも出である。また
、データの検索を行うものとし− ては、データベースシステムがある。これに関しては、
例えば、槌村俊介著「データベースシステムの基礎」（
オーム社「］Ｊ）の１２３〜１２８頁に址べられている
如く、リレーショナルデータベースに対して、Ｓ　Ｑ　
Ｌ言請で検索文を記述し、間合せる方法があった。
更に、書式に合せた出力に関しては、特開昭６３１７４
１６２号公報に開示された装置が知られている。
これは、用紙の書式をワードプロセッサ等の文書処理装
置に読み込み、画面上に表示された画像を姑ながら、ユ
ーザがその形式に合せて文書を入力し、入力した文書を
用紙形式に合せて出力するものである。
〔発明が解決しようとする課題］ 上記従来技術には、それぞれ、下記のような問題があっ
た。
まず、特開平１−１１９８８５号公報に開示された製置
については、表形式文書の罫線と文字列の認識を行うの
みであり、認識した結果から、書式付き印刷を行うとい
う点については配慮されていない、。
また、「データベースシステムの基礎Ｊに辻べられてい
る方法では、検索を行うユーザが、Ｓ　Ｑ　Ｌという検
索ｉ−ｉ’　、−＋、ｆを新しく１で得しなければなら
ないという問題があった、。
更に、特開昭６３−１７４１６２号公報に開示された装
置においては、作成文書が履歴書の如き単純なデータ記
入文書であっても、ユーザが端末画面を見ながらデータ
記入を行わなければならないという問題があった。
これらの問題に対しては、用紙に犯人するデータをデー
タベースに蓄積しておき、これを自動的に検索して、デ
ータを出力することも考えられるが、この場合には、デ
ータベース検索の検索条件も自動的に生成しなければな
らないという問題がある。
本発明はＪ二ｔｋ！　ＵＧ情に鑑みてなされたもので、
その目的とするところは、従来の１支術における上述の
如き問題を角１４　’ｄ’ｓ　Ｌ、展層７（専、作成丈
ｉｊ３が比較的甲紳なデータ記入に関するものである場
合に、データの書き込みを、その都電、人が行わな゛く
ても、記入用紙の書式読み込みから記入用紙−１ユへの
出力までを、自動的に行う方法をＪ是供することにある
。
〔課題を角Ｖ決するための手段〕
本発明の上記目的は、両像入力装置ｄにより記入用紙の
書式を読み込むステップと、読み込まれた画像データか
ら１￥ｉｉ記記入川紙Ｊ用の記入項目名と記入済みデー
タとを組にして認識するステップと、前記記入済み項目
に記入されていたデータを持つことを条件としてデータ
ベースからデータを検索するステップを有することを特
徴とするデータベース検索方法、および、前記各ステッ
プに加え、前記検索ステップにより検索されたデータを
記入用紙上に、その書式に従って出力するステップを有
することを特徴とする書式付き文書出力方法によって達
成される。
〔作用］ まず、本発明に係るデータベース検索方法においては、
画像人力装置により記入用紙のｆ！（式を読、７）、込
むステップにより、個人名等のキーｆＩＩｔ報が既に記
入されているデータ記入用紙ｏ）、！ｉ式を画像データ
として読み込み、次に、読み込まれたｌｌ！Ｉｌ像デー
タから、記入用紙１４の記入項「１才ｌと、）０人済み
のキー情報を１１Σ識するステップにより、用紙りに記
入すべきデータの項１−１とデータ記入するキー情報と
を認識する。四に、記入されたキー↑１ｊ報を持つこと
を条件に個人データを検索することにより、記入されて
いたキー情報を持つ個人のデータを検索することができ
る。
また、本発明に係る書式（、Ｉき文書出力方法において
は、」二連のデータベース検索方法により検索したデー
タを、記入用紙」―にその書式に従って出力することか
り能である。
〔実施例〕
以下、本発明の実施例を図面に基づいて詳細に説明する
。
第２図は、本発明の一実施例である潜入付き文書出力機
能を備えた文潜処理装置の構成をｊＪ＜すブロック図で
ある。図において、１はａ「算機本体、２はＣ１〕（）
、３は主記憶装置ｉ７Ｌ、４は外部記憶製［［′Ｃを示
している。また、５はデイスプレィ、６はキーボード、
７は記入用紙の１！シ式を読み込む画像人力装置、８は
プリンタを示している。
第１図は、本実施例における処理手順を示すフローチャ
ーＩ・である。ステップ１０は、画像入力装置により、
記入用紙の書式を読み込むステップであり、ステップ２
０は、記入用紙上の記入項目と記入済みデータを組にし
て認識するステップ、ステップ３０は、記入済み項目に
記入されたデータを持つことを条件に、データベースか
らデータを検索するステップ、ステップ４０は、検索さ
れたデータを記入用紙上にその書式に従って出力するス
テップを示している。
以下、上述の各ステップの詳細を説明する。
第１図に示したステップ１０では、記入用紙の書式を画
像データとして、画像入力装置を用いて読み込む。第３
図は、記入用紙として用いる、申込み用紙の一例である
。この中込み用紙は、中込み者の氏名と年令、住所、？
！ｉ話番診および職業を犯人するように構成されている
。この例は、中込み用紙の「お名前」の欄に、中込み者
が「日立正相」と、既に申込み者の氏名を記入しである
場合を示している。本実施例に示す文１１（、処理製置
においては、ユーザは、［ＩＦ　ｉＡみ用紙上に、この
ように■１「４人名を記入してから、この申込み用紙を
画像人力させるだけで、その個人のデータを−に記申込
み用紙」二に出力させることができる。
ステップ２０は、読み込んだ画像を解析し、記入項１１
名と記入データの組として認識するステップである。第
４図は、このステップの出力例を、第３図の記入用紙例
に基づき示すものである。第４図に示すテーブルの記入
項目名フィールド２０＋には、認識された記入項目名を
登録し、記入データフィールド２０３には、用紙上に記
入済みであったデータを登録する。但し、データ記入が
ない場合には、Ｎ　ＬＪ　Ｌ　Ｉ−を登録する。これら
の文字列の識別のためには、記入用紙の罫線と文字列を
識別する必要があるが、その方法は、例えば、一般の表
形式ｇ式に認識方式を用いれば良い。
次に、第１図のステップ３０を、第５図を用いてより詳
細に説明する。第５図は、第１図のステップ３０の詳細
を示すフローチャートである。
まず、ステップ３１０では、記入項目名の正規化を行う
１．これは、第１図に小すステップ２０で（矢録された
記入項目名を、第６図に示す同義語テーブルを用いて正
規化するステップである。一般に個人データの記入用紙
上では、記入項目名の表現にバリエーションがあり、例
えば、「氏名」を「名前Ｊと表現したり、「お名前」と
表現したりする。しかし、データベースに登録されてい
る項目名は−通りであるので、データベースでデータを
検索するためには、これら同じ内容を表わす異なる表現
を統一・表現に改める必要があるわけである。
そこで、本実施例においては、登録された記入項目名に
対して、第６図に示す同義語テーブルを参照することに
より、正規項目名を求め、第４図に示す正規項目名フィ
ールド２０２に登録する。この方法は容易に実現できる
ので、詳細な説明は省略する。第７図に、正規項目名を
登録した結４′：を示す。
第５図に示すステップ３２０は、データベースに対する
検索条件を生成するステップである。第８図に、本実施
例で用いる個人データを集めたデータベースの内容の一
部を示す、１本実施例においては、データベースとして
リレーショナルデータベースを用いている。リレーショ
ナルデータベースからデータを検索するためには、Ｓ　
Ｑ　Ｌを用いるが、その書式を第９図に示す。
ＳＱＬでは、Ｓ　Ｅ　Ｌ　Ｅ　ＣＴと書いた後に検索項
目の並びを記述し、１＝’　ＲＯＭの後に検索対象とな
るテーブル名を記述し、Ｗ　ＨＥ　ＲＥの後に検索条件
を記述する。第５図ステップ３２０のより詳細な動作を
、第１０図に示した。
第１０図は、検索文の生成処理のフローチャートである
。ステップ３２１は、第７図のテーブル中に正規項目と
して登録された項１コの中で、記入データがＮＵＬＩ−
であるものを検索文中の検索項「１として設定するステ
ップである。第７図の例では、「年令」、「住所」、「
電話Ｊおよび「職業」がこれに該当する。
ステップ３２２は、検索文中の検索対象テーブル名とし
て、本実施例に用いるリレーショナルテーブルの名称で
ある「データテーブル」を設定するステップである。ス
テップ３２３は、登録された正規項目名のうち、記入デ
ータがＮ　Ｕ　Ｌ　Ｌでないものについて、 「正規項目名＝記入データＪ として条件文を生成するステップである。この条件文は
、「正規項目名フィールドに登録されている項目名が、
記入データフィールドに登録されている値を持つことを
条件とする」という内容を記述しているものである。第
７図の例では、「氏ｆ、＝日立正和」 とするのがこれにあたる。
第１Ｉ図に、生成された検索文の例を示す。検索結果は
、第７図に示す記入データフィールド２０３中のＮＵＬ
Ｌが登録されている欄に登録する。第１２図に、登録の
終了した例を示す。
第１図に示したステップ４０は、検索されたデータを記
入用紙上にその書式に従って出力するステ１２− ツブである。第１２図に示した記入項目名フィールド４
０１とデータフィールド４０３との対応から、申込み用
紙」−に、個人データと中込み用紙の書式を合せて出力
する。書式に合せた印刷は、画像入力した記入用紙の画
像データを基に、印刷位置を決めることにより実現され
る。出力例を、第１３図に示した。
次に、第１４図を用いて、本発明の他の実施例を説明す
る。第１４図に示すステップ１１，２１．３１および５
１は、それぞれ、先に示した本発明の第一の実施例に係
るフローチャート（第１図）のステップ１０〜３０およ
び４０と同じものである。本実施例の特徴とするところ
は、ステップ４１として、検索結果を確認し、修正する
ステップを有する点にある。
ステップ４１は、検索結果の確認、修正を行うステップ
であり、例えば、第一の実施例に係る第１２図の情報を
端末画面に表示し、ユーザによる確認を得た後、ステッ
プ５１の書式付き文書の出力を行うものである。ステッ
プ４１においては、ユーザによる修正を行うことも可能
である。
−に記実施例によれば、申込み用紙等の記入項ｌ」への
データ記入を自動化することができ、データの書き込み
を人が行わなくても良くなり、記入の手間を省くことが
できるという効果がある。
−１−記各実施例は、本発明の一例として示したもので
あり、本発明はこれに限定されるべきものではないこと
は言うまでもない。例えば、実施例に示した計算機１は
、ワードプロセッサでも構わないという如くである。
〔発明の効果〕
以上、詳細に説明した如く、本発明によれば、データベ
ース検索方法において、画像入力装置により記入用紙の
書式を読み込むステップと、読み込まれた画像データか
ら前記記入用紙上の記入項目名と記入済みデータとを組
にして認識するステップと、前記記入済み項目に記入さ
れていたデータを持つことを条件としてデータベースか
らデータを検索するステップを有することにより、デー
タベースからのデータ検索を簡単に実行「１能とすると
ともに、前記各ステップに加え、前妃検索ステップによ
り検索されたデータを記入用紙上に、その書式に従って
出力するステップを右することにより、データベースか
らのデータ検索を簡単に出力する書式付ぎ文は出力方法
を実現できるという顕著な効果を奏するものである。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １、画像入力装置により記入用紙の書式を読み込むステ
    ップと、読み込まれた画像データから前記記入用紙上の
    記入項目名と記入済みデータとを組にして認識するステ
    ップと、前記記入済み項目に記入されていたデータを持
    つことを条件としてデータベースからデータを検索する
    ステップを有することを特徴とするデータベース検索方
    法。 ２、前記各ステップに加えて、前記記入済み項目に記入
    されていたデータを持つことを条件とするデータベース
    検索文を生成するステップを有し、前記データベース検
    索文を用いてデータを検索することを特徴とする請求項
    １記載のデータベース検索方法。 ３、前記記入済み項目に記入されていたデータが、個人
    名であることを特徴とする請求項１または２記載のデー
    タベース検索方法。 ４、画像入力装置により記入用紙の書式を読み込むステ
    ップと、読み込まれた画像データから前記記入用紙上の
    記入項目名と記入済みデータとを組にして認識するステ
    ップと、前記記入済み項目に記入されていたデータを持
    つことを条件としてデータベースからデータを検索する
    ステップと、該検索ステップにより検索されたデータを
    記入用紙上にその書式に従って出力するステップを有す
    ることを特徴とする書式付き文書出力方法。 ５、前記記入用紙が個人データ記入用紙であり、前記読
    み込まれた画像データから認識する記入済みデータが個
    人名であり、該個人名を基に個人データを検索すること
    を特徴とする請求項４記載の書式付き文書出力方法。 ６、前記各ステップに加えて、検索結果の確認、修正を
    行うステップを有することを特徴とする請求項４記載の
    書式付き文書出力方法。
