Abstract

PURPOSE:To monitor and control an automatic cash transaction device despite no residence of a maintenance engineer in a prescribed place by providing a radio telephone circuit for connection secured between a remote monitoring device and the cash transaction device in the radio communication and therefore attaining the transfer of the remote monitoring device. CONSTITUTION:When an automatic cash transaction device 8 has a fault, a data link is set up in radio communication to a remote monitoring device 1 to transmits the fault of the device 8 to the device 1 in a prescribed transmission control procedure. The device 1 receives the fault information and also sets up a data link in radio communication to the device 8 and sends a restoring command to the device 8 in a prescribed transmission control procedure. Thus the device 1 can be freely transferred and therefore a maintenance job is secured for the device 8 even though a maintenance engineer is not resident in a prescribed place.
