A conventional chair with a backrest plate that tilts back and forth has a backrest rod connected to the upper end of the backrest plate, which is pivoted to the underside of the seat.
The backrest plate is always elastically biased by a coil spring in a direction in which the backrest plate tilts forward to support the 1 & 2 tilt of the seated person, and the strength of the spring is adjusted depending on the seated person. However, if there is a large difference in the weight of the seated occupants, the tilt angle of the backrest plate will vary greatly, so the strength of the spring must be adjusted each time, which poses a problem when used by an unspecified number of people. there were. In addition, chairs that have an elastic body embedded inside the backrest rod or seat that elastically supports the backrest plate are adjusted to standard specifications when shipped from the factory, and it is impossible for the seater to adjust them from the outside. This still had the above-mentioned problems.

In the chair of the present invention having the above-mentioned contents, when a seated person sits on the seat plate, the front part of the tilting member sinks downward about the pivot point which is pivoted to the compatible wall of the frame by a fixed pivot. At the same time, the compression coil spring of the pressing means provided between the position below the pivot point and the lower end of the backrest rod is compressed, and if rearward stress is applied to the backrest plate in this state, it is fixed to the rear end of the frame. The backrest rod, which is pivotally supported by the support shaft, rotates around the pivot point and tilts backward against the elastic force of the coil spring of the pressing means associated with the lower end of the backrest rod. , the elastic force of the coil spring is balanced, and if a large rearward stress is applied to the backrest slope, the floating support shaft of the connection part provided in relation to the lower end of the backrest lever will change the length of the tilting member. When it hits the upper end of the hole, the front part of the tilting member is rotated downward, further compressing the compression coil spring of the pressing means and resting at the balanced position. In other words, when a person is seated and a weight is applied to the seat plate, that is, the tilting member, the resistance force against the backward tilting of the backrest changes depending on the magnitude of the weight.

According to the chair of the present invention made as described above, it can be attached to a leg stand,
A frame having a generally U-shaped cross section that opens at least upwardly and has a compatible wall; A tilting member that forms elongated holes of approximately equal distance and attaches a seat plate to the upper surface, and a backrest rod whose lower part is pivoted to the supporting wall at the rear end of the frame by a fixed support shaft and whose upper part is attached to a backrest slope. a connecting portion having one end connected to the lower end of the backrest rod and the other end pivotally connected to the elongated hole of the tilting member by a floating support shaft; and a connecting portion located below the pivot point of the tilting member. The lower end of the backrest lever is connected to the lower end of the backrest rod, and the pressing means is elastically biased by a compression coil spring in a direction in which the two are moved apart, so that the pressure can be adjusted according to the weight of the person seated on the seat plate. The sinking depth of the front part of the tilting member increases or decreases, and accordingly, the pressing means interposed between the position below the pivot point of the tilting member and the lower end position below the pivot point of the backrest rod is compressed. When the rate of compression of the coil spring increases or decreases and a backward stress is applied to the backrest plate, i.e., the backrest rod, the resistance force when the compressed coil spring is further compressed, that is, the backward tilt of the backrest rod. It is possible to increase or decrease the restoring force that acts forward when the compression coil spring is compressed, and even if a large stress is applied to the backrest plate, that is, the backrest rod, from the balanced state where the compression coil spring is compressed, the lower end of the backrest rod will not be affected. One end of the linked connecting part was pivotally attached to the long hole provided at a rear position from the pivot point of the tilting member in a loosely inserted state by a floating support shaft, so that the floating support shaft came into contact with the upper end of the long hole. After making contact, the front part of the tilting member is further rotated downward by the rear part of the backrest lever, and as a result, the compression coil spring is further compressed, so that the restoring force of the backrest lever becomes extremely strong. This prevents further backward leaning. Therefore, even if the weight of the person sitting is large (different), the seater can always sit stably in a well-balanced state. Not only does it not tilt and give a feeling of instability to the seated person, it also does not overturn later.
