Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain quick sorting without sequential read of plural items and several tens of incoming paper sheets by marking a white background reception mark onto a header of reception paper and a tail end space while changing the position for each communication. CONSTITUTION:Part (0.5mm) of a black background reception mark 15 is marked from a prescribed position of a cut line 17 scheduled at a rear part formed with a till end space 6b after the end of reception recording 16 toward the tail end part. The prescribed position on which the black background reception mark 15 is changed for each communication. The reception mark is selected to be 5-30mm and decided properly. Moreover, the position may not be continuously changed but intermittently changed. A platen 3 is driven counterclockwise in this state and thermosensing recording paper 1 is carried till the cut line 17 on the thermosensing recording paper 1 is matched with the cut line of a cutter unit and then stopped.

In short, whether it is stacked or scattered, it suffices as long as it can be identified and organized for each communication with the negative eye. In the above-mentioned embodiments, the description has been made of the case where one thermal recording paper is used, but the same applies to other methods such as thermal transfer, electrophotography, electrostatic recording, etc.

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, the facsimile apparatus according to the present invention changes the position of the reception mark I5 on a colored background, such as a black background, by one message in the header 6a or trailing edge margin 61) of the reception paper 6. By marking them, even if a large number of receiving papers 6 are stacked, they can be easily sorted by one communication (-), and even if they are mixed by mistake, they can be found at a glance. It is also extremely useful for subsequent filing and storage.
