Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the pressing of a handset on the ear before performing a dial operation and to improve the operability of a one-piece type telephone set by displaying the capture of a line and the response of a callee on the telephone set visually and audibly. CONSTITUTION:A current detector 3 and a polarity inversion detection circuit 4 detect the DC circuit closing state of a communication channel 1, and output detection information to a judging device 7. The judging device 7 judges the capture of the communication channel, and outputs a signal 21 to a line capture and callee response display device 18, and displays the capturing state of the line visually or audibly. When off-hook is performed by a callee, a callee response signal appears as the polarity inversion of a call issuing side communication channel, and the polarity inversion detector 4 detects polarity inversion, and outputs the detection information to the judging device 7. At this time, a callee responsing state is displayed visually and audibly by outputting the signal 21 from the judging device 7 to the line capture and callee response display 18. In such a manner, since the capture of the line and the response of the callee can be confirmed without pressing the handset on the ear, the operability of the one-piece type telephone set can be improved.

[Prior Art] Conventionally, when making a call using a telephone, line acquisition and confirmation of a called name response have been performed audibly using a dial tone or voice on the line using a handset or speaker. In particular, one-piece telephones, including cordless telephones, in which a display operation section is integrated into the handset and receiver cannot be equipped with a speaker for audible display to perform the above-mentioned confirmation due to structural limitations. For this reason, when making a call using a one-piece telephone, the caller must first hang up the receiver to confirm that the line has been captured.
After checking the dial tone of the line by holding the handset to the ear, perform the dialing operation while visually checking the dial integrated into the handset, and after placing the handset to the ear again and checking the response of the called party, I was forced to perform an extremely inconvenient outgoing call operation, which involved switching to a phone call.

[Problems to be Solved by the Present Invention] According to the above-mentioned conventional technology, when making a call, one-piece telephones put the handset to the ear before and after dialing to confirm line capture and the called party's response, making it extremely easy to operate. There is a problem with it being bad. In order to solve this problem, the present invention proposes a line capture Φ called party response display method that can notify the caller of the line capture and called party response without having to put the receiver to the ear. The challenge is to provide

The line capture state detection method shown in FIGS. 1 and 3 is a detection method using a direct current of the communication line, and the above-mentioned method shown in FIGS. 2 and 4 is a detection method using a signal tone of the communication line. Any callee response is detected by polarity reversal of the communication line.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, in the outgoing operation, the off-hook operation (the operation of lifting the handset of the telephone) operates the DC circuit closing switch 2, operating the circuit network 5, and disconnecting the receiver 14.
You can hear the dial tone of communication line l. At this time, the current detector 3 detects that the DC circuit of the communication port lal is in a closed state, and outputs detection information to the determiner 7.

At the same time, the polarity reversal detector M4 also detects line-occluded blood and similarly outputs detection information to the determiner 7. The determiner 7 obtains both of the above outputs and proceeds to the operation of determining the polarity and determining line capture in the initial state of the communication line.

In this embodiment, when the DC circuit closed state of the communication port 1i11 continues for a certain period of time or more, the determiner 7 determines that the communication line has been captured, and the line capture/called party response display 11918 displays the line captured/called party response display 11918. A response signal 21 is output to visually and/or audibly indicate the line acquisition status. At this time, a dial exit permission signal 8 is output to the dial sending unit lO, and a selection signal (dial) by operating the dial 11 can be output to the communication line l.

Communication port! When a selection signal is sent to 11, the communication line enters a calling state, and an incoming bell rings on the called side. When the called party goes off-hook, the called party response signal appears as a polarity reversal of the calling side communication line, and the polarity reversal detector 4 detects the polarity reversal and outputs detection information to the determiner 7.

At this time, the transmitter mute signal 9 is sent from the determiner 7 to the transmitter mute switch 22, and the line capture/called party response indicator 18 is sent to the transmitter mute switch 22.
A line capture/called party response signal 2I is outputted to visually and audibly display the called party response status. The relationship between each part is shown in FIG. 5 (time chart).

Regarding the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, differences from FIG. 1 will be explained. That is, in this embodiment, the signal sound when an outside line is captured is guided to the determiner 7 via the bandpass filter 6 and is determined. According to this system, line capture is determined based on the signal tone (so-called dial tone) used by the communication line to give permission to transmit the selection signal, so line capture can be determined reliably.
