Abstract

PURPOSE:To display a normal video by providing a signal switcher between a drop-out correction signal (DOS signal) input terminal and a drop-out correction circuit, and interlocking it with a video signal switcher. CONSTITUTION:In the case where the video signal switcher 4 outputs a video signal from package system, a DOS signal switcher 5 outputs a DOS signal from the package system, and when drop-out occurs in the video signal, the drop-out correction circuit 6 operates, and the drop-out is corrected. In the case where the switcher 4 outputs the signal from a satellite broadcast receiver (IDU), the interlocked DOS signal switcher 5 is connected to a low level constant potential source 9, and the drop-out correction circuit 6 does not operate. Accordingly, the video signal from IDU is displayed as a video as it is, and the unnecessary influence of the DOS signal from the package system never exercises upon it.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Field of Industrial Application This invention relates to a satellite broadcast receiver (
IDU) or input signals from package systems such as VTRs and discs. This article relates to a television receiving device that displays audio. 2. Description of the Related Art An example of a conventional television receiver equipped with a dropout correction function will be explained with reference to the drawings. Figure 2 is a block diagram showing the configuration of a conventional television receiver equipped with a dropout correction function. In FIG. 2, 1 is the first input terminal, into which the video signal from the package system is input. 2 is the second input terminal into which the video signal from the IDU is input. 3 is a DOS signal input terminal (DOS signal dropout correction signal), to which the signal from the package system is connected. 8 is a signal switch, which is similar to 2 above.
Outputs one of two video signals. 6 is a dropout correction circuit that corrects the loss of the video signal by the DOS signal, and 7 is a display device that can display the output of the dropout correction circuit 6.The DOS signal input to the DOS signal input terminal 3 is normal. This DOS is a binary signal that is low level at times and high level when a video signal is missing.
When the signal becomes high level, the dropout correction circuit 6 operates to correct dropout. Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in the configuration shown in FIG. 2, the video signal from the IDU is input to the second input terminal 2, and the video signal from the package system is input to the first input terminal 1. When a DOS signal is input to each of the DOS signal input terminals 3 and the signal switch 8 is outputting a video signal from the IDU, the DOS signal from the package system will not affect the video, such as disturbances. However, there was a problem in that it prevented normal image projection. This is due to the following reasons. That is,
Even though the signal switch 8 is outputting the video signal from the IDU, the DoS signal from the package system remains input to the dropout correction circuit 6, and the package system does not perform signal regeneration operation. Of course, the DOS signal can be at a high level during this process. In addition, even when signal regeneration operation is not performed, for some reason, DO
A significant or insignificant high level signal can be input as the S signal. As a result, the video signals from the IDU were affected by disturbances, etc. In order to eliminate this effect, turn off the power supply to the package system and
It was necessary to take measures such as fixing the S output to a low level or disconnecting the DOS signal input terminal 3. Therefore, the present invention is intended to prevent unnecessary DOS signals from having an influence when displaying a video based on a video signal from an IDU, thereby making it possible to display a normal video. Means for solving the problems and technical means of the present invention for solving the above-mentioned problems are to provide a signal switch between the DOS signal input terminal and the dropout correction circuit, and to switch the DOS signal input of the signal switch A low-level constant potential is connected to one end other than the terminal side so that the signal switch outputs either a DOS signal or a low-level constant potential, and the switching control of this DOS signal switch is controlled by video signal switching. This is linked to the switching control of the equipment. Effect The effect of this technical means is as follows. That is, when the video signal switch is outputting the video signal from the package system, the DOS signal switch also outputs the DOS signal from the package system, and this DOS signal causes the dropout correction circuit to correct the dropout of the video signal. The output is corrected and a normal image is displayed on the display device. Conversely, when the video signal switch is outputting the video signal from the IDU, the DOS signal switch outputs a low-level constant potential, and the dropout correction circuit does not operate. As a result,
When displaying a video based on the video signal from the IDU, there is no unnecessary influence from the DOS signal.

is a dropout correction circuit, and 7 is a display device. Next, the operation of the configuration of this embodiment will be explained. That is, when the video signal switch 4 is outputting the video signal from the package system, the DOS signal switch 5 also outputs the DOS signal from the package system, and when the video signal is missing, the DOS signal switch 5 outputs the DOS signal from the package system. Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the present invention, a DOS signal switch that works with a video signal switch is provided for the DOS signal supply path, and the dropout correction circuit is prevented from operating when receiving a signal from the IDU. By doing so, the video signal from the IDU is displayed as a video on the display device without being affected by unnecessary DOS signals from the package system.
