Abstract

PURPOSE:To use one magnetic disk device for multipurpose and to prevent data from being erased by misoperation by providing plural input ports and a recording division circuit. CONSTITUTION:When the command of operation is inputted from one of CPUs connected to the plural input/output ports 1a in an input/output circuit part 1, the circuit part 1 transmits a control signal to a switching circuit 2. When the circuit 2 receives the signal, it transmits an occupation signal which shows that the self device is occupied to other input/output ports 1a in the circuit part 1. Based on the instruction of division from a storage area division circuit 3, an access area to a disk device 5 is limited. After the data transmitted from the CPU is stored in a buffer memory 4, it is stored in the specified storage area of a disk storage part 5 optionally set by the circuit 3.
